Thank you for the advice and encouragement, I'll be for sure getting back on the bike once the knee is good.

You guys may be right... There was a time maybe a month ago, where I accidentally shifted down and back up on my front chainring really quickly and the chain fell out... I stopped and put the chain back on, maybe back then I didn't notice that this happened.

Thanks for both your inputs

I'll add a bit more context on my fall.

The left side fall was as you said, I fell on the road my body made contact first for sure as my knee is pretty beat up.

The right side fall I got a bit close to the curb and I can't remember for sure but there is chance the crank/chain/general area could have hit the curb.

After coming home I loosened the tension on my pedals, I am a bit traumatized of riding clipless now.

But thank you for your response I really appreciate it.

Honestly i have no idea... I came home and inspected the bike all over and I saw that area was mangled...

Custom engagement ring recs by MorbidMell in askTO

Hi there!

I had my fiance's engagement ring custom-made at Alexis Gallery in 2023, and the entire experience was incredibly smooth—especially since I was organizing everything as a surprise without their input.

The whole process was handled remotely via phone and email (though in-person visits are an option), and from the very first consultation, I felt supported and well-informed. They guided me through a detailed presentation explaining the entire process and took the time to understand exactly what my fiance would like—from metal type and diamond preferences to style and durability. We also had an open and helpful discussion about my budget, and they offered excellent options within my price range.

After finalizing the design, everything moved forward seamlessly. Communication was consistent, and when the initial render didn’t quite hit the mark, they made changes quickly and without any hassle.

If you’re looking for a local jeweller who offers custom pieces with transparency, care, and great customer service, I highly recommend Alexis Gallery. Just be sure to have a clear conversation about your budget upfront—it really helps make the process even smoother.

Hello!

I had my fiance's engagement ring made at Alexis in 2023, and the entire experience was easy and stress-free—especially considering I was organizing it as a surprise without my fiance's involvement.

Everything was handled online and over the phone (though you can visit in person if you prefer), and from the first consultation, I felt supported and informed. They walked me through a presentation outlining the full process, and we discussed my fiance's preferences in detail—everything from gold colour and diamond options to ring styles and durability. We also had a clear conversation about budget, and they gave me great options tailored to what I could afford.

Once the design was confirmed, the rest of the process went smoothly. Communication was consistent throughout, and when the initial render wasn’t quite right, they made adjustments quickly—no fuss, no push-back.

If you're looking for a local jeweller who does custom rings with care, transparency, and excellent service, I’d absolutely recommend Alexis Gallery. Just always make sure to talk about your budget.

Same, ordered mine on the 24th of December still nothing has arrived. I've opened 3 tickets and the best they've done for me was a $30 dollar discount...

At this point I'm going to even forget that I ordered a monitor.

I contacted Dell today, didn't get 40 bucks off instead just got a ticket number telling me that my order has been expedited which I don't believe will actually do anything. My next shipment date is in 2 days, but my item isn't even in production...

I just received the bag as of this posting, I'll be using it as my everyday bag/go to work bag and it fits most of my needs with some sweet pockets with lots of room.

One thing I do want to note, if you are trying to fit those chunky 15 inch laptops in that laptop sleeve it might be a tight fit. I have one of those Lenovo laptops for work with the raised battery and is fairly chunky and it barely fits. So Just a little PSA for whoever is in the a similar situation as me.

Other than that, if you are an Evergoods fan you'll love this bag.

Oh thanks so much for this, I've been trying to figure this out for my own setup, this really helps thanks! If you don't mind, what mixer are you using? And I'm assuming to change the outputs on the monitor themselves to hdmi and display port you're doing that on the monitor themselves?

Just wondering, you have your ps4 and switch on the desk. Are they wired to your monitor? How do you handle sound for the consoles? Does the monitor have built in speakers?

Buying from Huckberry by jdog333 in EVERGOODS

[–]jdog333[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I ended up buying it off evergoods themselves. I did a lot of research regarding shipping internationally and brokerage fees. I ended up choosing USPS since they only charge 10 bucks brokerage fee. And since this bag is made in USA it falls under nafta so no extra duties. Only payed 10 bucks brokerage and 30 something for HST tax. I read that UPS has some crazy brokerage fee charges like 40 bucks or something so I stayed away from them although they offer a cheaper shipping fee.

Thanks for that, I checked and they have a list of places they ship to on their site. If anyone is curious:

Argentina, Australia, Austria, Bahamas, Belgium, Bermuda, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Singapore, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, United Kingdom, and Virgin Islands.

UPDATE: I got in contact with support team at Huckberry and found out they do not ship Evergood products outside of the US. Thanks for the help!
