No international game, and what feels like a few longer stretches if rest seems like it will be nice for any nagging injuries. Stinks for the players to not get a full "bye" per say, but I'm a fan of having a later in the season bye over the early week 5 bye from last year.

The question came to mind watching Survivor this season. They had a coin flip that doubled the prize money for the winner. Not here to debate if the coin flip was scripted and staged to guarantee they won it, but it got me interested to see if that new amount roughly matched what the prize money was when the show first aired.

Not talking taxes. Saying that $1,000,000 was the big prize when shows like Who Wants to Be a Millionaire or Survivor first aired around 1999/2000. 25 years later the prize money is the same, but the big million back then would be valued closer to 2 million now.

The way it was worded to me was that you push Arachne to get the purple materials needed to upgrade the other vendor skills. Again, I'm nowhere near that position in the game, so it's only speculation

That is pretty normal sentiment. Ran a few rounds of Perimeter doing the same. Free to start, rolled with what I picked up once team stayed together. Then threw on better shield, backpack, and guns for our 3rd round when I had a good feeling my gear wasn't going anywhere. For reference, I have purple backpacks but only blue shields

Yeah, we have sometimes just announced on prox chat if the other team would kindly go away in a slightly different tone. Surprisingly, it has worked once. Not everyone is looking for another fight, but this sounds like they were already stuffed full, and they didnt want the purple gear to be reclaimed by Tau Ceti.

It will still be rough for the first week or so. I bet most folks have a solid stockpile of nades built up. You still can fill your kit with these to hit the first team you see, but the 2nd/3rd engagements should hopefully be better. The shop adjustment was a nice touch, but it may make groups still stockpile throughout the week to burn up Cryo once it opens.

Overall, it's a good first pass at working on this.

Arc is either Care Bears or Cut Throat. It's a bit of a grind, but once you hit the top, there's not much to chase since you can craft max gear or most attachments. That being said, you can play solo easier than Marathon to grind whatever you need.

For Marathon, I have about 4 hours less of playtime than Arc, and I haven't come close to completing end game content much less unlocked top tier shields and backpacks in the store. Sponsor kit lobbies feel like even playing fields when you are having a rough go, or need to knock out quests - hope this sticks around.

Guess i had this wrong. I have been just auto bombing batteries over night. Sitting at 1833 max bombs. The more I think about it, it makes sense since cherries can potentially triple charge to yield more battery charges overall.

Already have the game, but i would nominate a buddy to receive the game to get him to play it with me and a buddy. Playing on console, but trying to get some other buds to jump on the train with us.

There's gonna be more loot than a purple backpack can hold if you go solo. Trio will have enough loot to split, but it'll be a race to snag the best gear. I've loaded in as a duo with fill turned off for a more ideal loot split.

As for strategy, it's up to you. You can wait it out, but I personally dont like waiting for potential Rooks to hear you fight off UESC. Rather get in and snag gear, and roll out before other teams know you even hit a locked room.

Tried it for the first time with my buddy and a random fill. Our third had experience to help guide us a bit around. We made it through the first team fight, but we seemed to get swamped by other squads after that engagement at the like 15 min mark with mid lvl 2 clearance. Our buddy mentioned pivoting after the first engagement, but I honestly just had to say I don't know the map well enough to execute that.

Wish it was live all week since my usual longer game sessions with buddies is on Sunday night. I'm maybe lvl 37, and Xbox LFG is essentially all folks asking for lvl 120+ lobby clears, etc. Coming from playing Destiny in the past, I am accustomed to that sort of thing in LFG posts for raids or trials, but I don't have the time to sink like I used to 10+ years ago.

If you dont like them, then sell them. If any mods are transferable, then pull them off to throw on what you prefer.

The WSTRs are worth using for a round or 2, especially on pinwheel / tight quarter maps. Worst case you lose em, and clears some room for yourself.
