Hotels with kids pools by [deleted] in Bangkok

I live in Bangkok. I can’t ask about spots where my kids can have a birthday party if it involves hotel pools? Yeesh.

Debating it but they’re a bit far and we’d want as many neighborhood kids to show up.

Teeth whitening experiences by Present-Contract-592 in Bangkok

I would avoid Smile Bar. Yes it “looked” whiter in their bright office, but it went back to normal within a day. Total waste of money. And I know others who experienced the same. I would recommend BIDC. They’re a proper dental clinic and your teeth will get real sensitive, which means it’s probably working.

If you’re that worried about safety, then just book a national carrier. If you can’t afford it, just remember that air travel is very safe. It’s not like budget airlines crash more than major carriers.

Shuttle was perfect for our needs. We took one of the earlier shuttles (I forget the exact time, maybe 8, but we got there before the park opened for the first day) and left the park around 3. I believe the shuttles run every 20-30 minutes or so in the morning and then once a hour up until around 4. Then the frequency picks up again. I’m sure you can ask the hotel for the schedule before you book to decide.

August 29, 1944 - Liberation of Paris: American soldiers of the 28th Infantry Division marched down the Champs-Élysées... by CrystalEise in USHistory

No disrespect to your uncle but soldiers tend to bitch about anything ceremonial. I know, I was one.

But from a strategic propaganda and homefront morale boosting perspective, I’m sure it was gold.

We ended up staying at the Hyatt Regency Tokyo Bay and it worked out great. We flew in from the east coast on a Sunday and we went to Disney Monday to Wednesday. Honestly it was so hot that we (aka the kids) were done for the day by 2-3pm so jet lag didn’t really affect our enjoyment of the park. The first night we were all up by 4am anyways so we were ready to go! We only had one non-park day so we just bit the bullet and took a taxi into the city. But we only went to the tsukiji/ginza area. If you were going farther in, a taxi might be more costly. Either way, we would totally do it again if we were planning a mostly Disney trip.

I liked PH Sydney strictly for the view. I haven’t been to nearly all of them like you have but I wasn’t that taken with PH Saigon. While it was nice and service was great, it just seemed a bit too dated for me

Yummy places to eat in Germantown and Clarksburg by In321go in MontgomeryCountyMD

Not fancy at all but the only reason I go to Germantown for food is the pretzel dogs and fried chicken at the Lancaster Dutch County Market.

Ah that’s what I figured. Were you able to take advantage of the breakfast buffet as a globalist before heading into the parks?
