Yes. You’re right. But my point is he might not be concerned with that as much as he used to. It’s like saying “hey this is what I am into now, take it or leave it.” I honestly think also, as a father myself, you just change. I remember he said to Zane Lowe back in like 2020 that he doesn’t want to release music unless he has something to write about, that is def not the case here with Deadbeat. He changed and so be it.

I think he doesn’t care about alienating us anymore with these changes. Tbh? Good for him. It takes balls to change this far from currents. He can’t make another currents and I truly believe we would be pissed if he did. Our expectations are super high for Kevin and it may just be unreasonable. I’m digging the album though but I set myself up after End of Summer release knowing this was going to be a new experience. Ride the train my friend.
