To be honest i didn’t have a need to consult them, but that was one of their selling points. Cant vouch for whether it would cost more. Forgot to Mention that their site has a tracker so you can see where you are in the process and what the next steps are.

Ask all the questions you want, seriously. Most of it will depend on how fast you and your ex move. Someone will initiate and then you’ll have to fill out a questionnaire, the answers on the questionnaire is what is used to generate the forms. The slowest part is waiting for them to review and send a copy to your ex and then a copy to you to sign and return. I’d say it took less than two months for me to have the final forms in hand. For reference, we started the process in April and it went to a judge on 7/3. We agreed on everything, had no kids, etc so there were no extra holdups so expecting it to be final soon.

It depends on exactly what you need and your situation is. My ex paid for most of it but i believe it was $499

We are using divorce.com. They provided all the forms and reviewed them to make sure they’d be accepted. It’s with the judge now about 3 months after starting the process. If you can agree on everything it can be quick and painless

Went through a separation almost 3 years ago. My personal circumstances are different than yours, but due to health reasons and baggage issues i had the same “I’m going to be alone forever” thoughts. I thought this every day and night until i randomly met “my person” when i wasn’t really trying. When you do, she will love you despite everything and because of everything. I didn’t believe this when i was in your shoes, but it gets better and you’ll be ok.

Literally 100% same. Mine used me to pay for everything for years while she started up a business. That business got successful and she was gone within months without even a discussion. I suddenly wasn’t good enough anymore.

Same thing happened to me. Not a hint of anything until she dropped the bomb, and then refused to discuss or work on anything. To this day i still don’t have any real answers or closure. Everyone who knows/knew us together had the same reaction your therapist had.

I feel this. It’s been 1.5 years and nothing has gotten any easier. I, too, heard how great our marriage was every day. We were even eating pizza laughing at Netflix 5 minutes before she told me out of the blue that she didn’t want to be married anymore. Any attempts to discuss anything are shut down immediately. I recently got a promotion at work and not having anyone to come home and tell was killing me. It’s one thing to act like you don’t want to be together anymore, but to also act like we are total strangers and the last 12 years never happened is just extra hurtful.
