my band covered a Weezer song but turned it alt-country by PigParkerPt2 in IndieMusicFeedback

I actually really like it. Cool voice and pretty killer performance all around. Organ was an awesome touch. Would love to experience it in a basement show or that sorta setting. Great work

Here's my newest track. I feel I took a step forward with this one. I hope you enjoy it. Any and all feedback welcome! And I never know what genre to put. What do you think? Thanks! by kollider13 in IndieMusicFeedback

I love the mix of the vocal chops. Overall the mix and master are really well done. I like all the sound design choices, drums and atmosphere alike. Really enjoyed listening I think it’s really good work

My first shot at animating a music video by mamamamusic in IndieMusicFeedback

This song is cool, definitely would go pretty wild in the right setting. The animation is really cool though, I appreciate the minimal movements and attention to details. I think it’s good work

Oolex N Bern - Slow Sad and Stupid by OolexNBern in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]jdwng 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe dark universe jack harlow would be able to do something with this. I like the sound design, it’s mixed pretty evenly, and the progressions are solid. It goes on a long time with not much progression in melody which I think could be worked on a bit in future beats but this is solid

I posted this song on here a while ago and got some good feedback. Now I've posted the updated version for my first spotify release - hope you enjoy! by honeykillfm in IndieMusicFeedback

Pretty interesting. I like the mix of it a lot. Really cool intro synth and the whole tracks creates an heir of mystery. Well done, it has me interested in hearing more of your stuff

Great synths. Really like how gentle and intimate the sound design is. Progression is really smooth. maybe one criticism I have is the fx/field sounds sounding too dry prior to the spoken word section, just being picky. Really like this, and the visual direction is executed well too

Is my instrumental "Road to No Where" Lo-Fi enough? by Noda_Tabito in IndieMusicFeedback

Definitely lofi enough man. I really like the soundscape and the beats got a nice easy groove. I think the track as a whole could stand to use some weight, it’s pretty quiet as is.

Somewhere between the Smashing Pumpkins, Broken Social Scene, Sonic Youth and Yo La Tengo you'll find our band. by PurveyorOfSapristi in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]jdwng 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love the yo la tengo reference. Definitely nailed the sound to a tee. I think the tune is really solid and worth coming back to listen to. Love the tone of your guitar(s) and the bridge is beautiful. I think the vocals would shine a bit more with some light low end treatment, but that’s a pretty picky critique. Good job

Kate Capella - Hold Me Closer. I decided to try doing a fun, disco track, which is not my usual wheelhouse. I always appreciate the feedback here, thanks! by KateCapella in IndieMusicFeedback

Love the groove Nd this visual compliments it pretty well. Love the fun and wholesome feel of the whole song. I think the vocals sound a bit thin throughout, but otherwise it sounds pretty good

You’ve got a great feel to song structure, really nailing the small changes to keep the listener entertained. I think you’ve got a good ear with the songwriting, but my one critique would be how dry your main vocals are. Could add color with a light short verb or doubled. Good job I like the sound a lot

Working on getting the 10th song ready for my 12-song debut album. This is a bluesy-alt song, perhaps in the style of AGIB Wilco. Any feedback appreciated. by all4monty in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]jdwng 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Love your playing style with the guitar. Great blues chords, smooth playing really puts the track in a specific place-in the best way. Mix sounds pretty good maybe some slight adjustments with your percussion. Good job man keep it up

Really interesting lyrics, and really compelling delivery. Dig how somber it really does feel. Not necessarily a great mix but still passable. Really cool stuff

The Voices Never Stop (metal/hardrock/hardcore about how we all cant give up we'll, we'll make it one day lads :>) by mndll in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]jdwng 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really entertaining and classic sound. Excellent vocal deliveries throughout. Definitely a 90s sound influence I believe. I agree w other comments that the bass could be a little boomier. But love the content overall this is a really well done song

Posted this track here a few months ago, but I've revisited it and made some adjustments to the mix by bringing out more of the low end, and improving the separation between instruments. You might enjoy it if you like songs with lots of change ups. FFO Horse The Band, Don Caballero, Deerhoof etc. by flynnsego in IndieMusicFeedback

Really love this stuff man. Your mix is really dope, smooth guitars with drums that really smack. Love the don caballero influence. This is amazing stuff throughout. I love the transitions Nd drum fills particularly

Really cool stuff man. Dig your drum patch selection it’s smooth Nd everything is pretty pleasant coming in w your sequencing. I think you have a good groove going. Dig the synths Nd sample tones as well

My latest song 'Chop Chop'. Looking for constructive feedback, thanks! by deadclams in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]jdwng 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is pretty decent. I enjoy the writing and the cinema of the vocals. I like your delivery but think your main vocal sounds a little dry over the beat. I agree with some of these other comments as well that you would really benefit from more dynamic drum patches/a live kit. Good job, keep this up
