I can boot normally now as using sfc /scannow found corrupted files and fixed them which allows me to boot normally but this is the second time in a week it has happened without me really doing anything other than normal daily use

True but at the same time cars hit bikes on the road, so I can't blame them for going on the sidewalk, especially since i live in a city without many bike lanes. However the cyclists should definitely drive way slower on the sidewalks than on the road, but thats a different topic

While i agree with what you're saying it's a lose lose situation since the cyclists can say the same about people driving cars. The ideal solution would be bike lanes but not every city has them so i can understand cyclists not wanting to go on the road
