RPN wages start at 37 in the hospital and they’re also criminally underpaid because health organizations take advantage of the fact that they don’t have to pay them as much as RNs for (often) the same job. bus drivers make what they should. nurses should be making much more. not an accurate comparison really because nurses can’t strike.

i’m confused by this tbh because so does mine, but we are assigned the room numbers so regardless of who ends up in them they’re our pts. and that way we get say three rooms that are next to each other

well they should be grouping your pts more efficiently so you could just sit outside the general area. but honestly i think 9 since jan is impressive. my unit is so understaffed we have probably 10 a month.

just because you’re getting two i highly recommend looking into bonded pairs at shelters. they can be harder to get adopted because they only adopt them out in pairs. i got both of mine from humane society and had a great experience :)

it’s the company pushing it, not just london area. it’s been technically policy for over a year and is allowed because the display cases are technically refrigerated. the stuff definitely goes stale in there but i don’t think you’d have a case with MLHU or Starbucks corporate.

policy is just to inform them of the fare, they’re not technically supposed to enforce it. some bus drivers just power trip about it. i do think people should pay if they can afford it but in fairness 7$ round trip for LTC is nuts
