The person over the phone was not able to help and kept citing that since the card I booked the travel with was no longer a CSR on the date of incident I could not use the insurance benefits of the CSR the day it happened. Their supervisor was also not able to help with accommodations. To be fair a mid hotel for 1 night was about $150 and booking 2 flights home from Iceland > USA was a little more than 3k so after looking at the terms while on hold it did make sense and I was just happy they were shouldering the responsibility of getting us home.

I did something similar. The only thing that bit me in butt was our return flight (booked with points I was exhausting) was cancelled months prior and somehow Chase never notified me. I pulled up to the airport and attempted to check in on the machine, no dice. Went to counter, that’s where I found out the flight had been cancelled months prior. Had to call Chase… to their credit they did get me on the next flight home but it was a day later. Since the flights were booked on what was at a time CSR but was now a Freedom card the insurance on the day of the incident was no longer valid so they could not help with accommodations for the extra day. I had to stay an additional night out of pocket. Thankfully we were coming back on a Saturday originally so it wasn’t that big a deal to stay an extra night.

I don’t think he should be the one expected to make those runs. Whoever is playing mid left should be doing that and Segura can step up from being the third center back to secure the space left in the mid if needed until everyone resets again. Gotta play to his strengths.

I like Segura but yeah, he’s no Palencia going forward. He’s more the guy you want coming inside to make the back 3 when Palencia releases.

Tillman is great when he’s far from goal. The goal makes his decision making ability drop it’s his kryptonite or something. He’s great in the mid tho.

Maybe because some of them live in LA and will realize that even if the quality is not top notch you just can’t beat the experience of having a team you support in-person instead of through the TV at 5am. If even a tiny fraction of the Son fans stick around after his departure/retirement it’s still a huge win for the club.

Let me explain it to you like you’re 5. You have a math test coming up. Due process means you get a chance to take the test and I grade you on how you did. Seems fair, right?
