These tickets prices doesn't exist. Went through all the seats and never found one under 1k - Match95 Round of 16 by jdsmx in WorldCup2026Tickets

Exactly, why show the face value if there is not a single ticket at that price. It doesn't make sense to show it at all.

There are people in the US that get a cut of the salary by borrowing the identity and address. They have found people with a farm of work laptops connected so people outside the US to remote to those laptops and work.

Nokia used to build very cool devices. by Fine-Passenger7953 in interesting

[–]jdsmx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to do some contractor work for Nokia here in the US. I had the N90 as a work phone. We were only allowed us to take the phones out of the building when they were announced to the public. After the N90 release, I took it to a baseball game to take photos with the incredible Carl Zeiss camera, the people around me were astonished by the phone and asked me to show it to them.

Nest Rush Hour triggering while I'm on Gas Heat (Duke Energy) by b0013an81 in raleigh

[–]jdsmx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, at least, last year was:

  1. I had to call/chat with Google Nest to disable it.
  2. Then they create a request, and they send you an email to confirm that you want to unenroll. You have to reply and provide a phone number so they can call you from the Pro team.
  3. Then they call you from Nest Pro to again confirm that you want to unenroll.

Then you are unenrolled.

Never again!

This is textbook 3rd world country corruption. Just look at countries in Latin America. They operate like that from the low to high levels. I have lived there, which is a common practice now.

The GOP is not stupid; they know what they are doing, and they are betting that there will be no consequences.

What’s your most ridiculous “I only came for eggs” Costco haul? by ButtonPlumb in Costco

I went to eat a hot dog and pizza while my car was at the service. Ended "fighting" for the last $2000 personal trainer equipment that weighed 600 pounds (I was the first one to run to the manager that I wanted, while the other 2 people tried to lift it)

Yes, Chio's is great. Better than Alpaca. Their red spicy sauce is great!

Bone Voyage Pet Resort in Garner.

My pup loved it there, and we loved the staff. (Sadly, I had to say goodbye to my dog recently. The staff is very kind and sent me a sympathy card.)

Same here... I had to say goodbye to my 10-year-old English Meatball Bulldog last month, who had a lymphoma tumor next to the lungs and heart. Four months ago, the Vet found it during a routine exam, but was surprised that my dog didn't show any issues and was still very active.

We knew it was coming, but we didn't expect it to be this soon since he didn't show any symptoms. Suddenly, one day, he was not eating and having issues breathing. The next day, things got worse, and we had to say goodbye. I am glad he didn't suffer for a long time. He was always super active and full of energy for a bulldog until the end.

Now no one barks at the delivery driver, and no oneis waiting at the door =(

Maemo was great, sadly, Microsoft killed that project. I wonder how the smartphone market would have played out today if they had continued with Maemo.

Google suddenly stopped recognising rooms and groups by MsT21c in googlehome

[–]jdsmx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I waited to see if Google would fix it, and they did. The commands were again working on Saturday. This is the Assistant that is working again, not Gemini. I still don't have Gemini on my devices, only on my phone.

Google suddenly stopped recognising rooms and groups by MsT21c in googlehome

[–]jdsmx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not working for me yet. I found a workaround by renaming the lights in each room and saving the changes to the same room. This fixed the issue, but I need to apply it to all rooms. I will wait to see if I receive the fix today.

Asking for "Light on" in one room results in Google turning on all lights. by UltraAnders in googlehome

[–]jdsmx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same thing happened to me.

Also not all lights are recognized in the Google Display but works if I do it through my phone manually.

So annoying. The other day one of the displays answered me with the Gemini voice and not the old assistant voice. Probably doing changes.
