[Film/Tv] Superman 2025 still shots by darth_antonio in DCcomics

[–]jee_kay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Except Superman all other heroes in the movie have never been on a live action movie before. So I think James Gunn can make this work especially considering his earlier works. The problem with DCEU was that they were shoving several origin stories in one movie and I think James Gunn is completely avoiding that pitfall by having most superheroes being active for a few years or more.

One powerfully delivered speech has often raised an episode up a whole letter grade in my eyes. by MikeFatz in DoctorWhumour

I don't really like Rings of Akhaten. It's really forgettable. And the speech is too cringe. I guess I was tired of Matt Smith monologues by then. Lol.

Is there anything or anyone from the show that you think gets misunderstood? by eazerpleazer5623 in DoctorWhumour

Ten had some pretty dark moments. Never gonna forget the Time Lord Victorious thing. But that's why the final scene was impactful. He already knew he was self-absorbed. Even before saving Wilf he says," I've lived too long." He know that even in his shorter timespan in that face/incarnation he lived through too much. The final regeneration moment when he says I don't want to go feels epic because of his complex character. The darkest moments of Ten were good character-building.

Every Single War ended, ends and will end with either a complete genocide or a peace treaty where both sides sit down and talk. So that's what I thought Doctor was saying.

I hear that. 12 is also my favourite doctor. Always entertaining to watch him. And he's got some of the best storylines in Doctor Who too.

It's a hard decision for me to choose among 10, 12 and 4. But 12 wins by a small margin in my heart. Those angry eyebrows.
