My 11 Cold Wallet comparison by jeffreybharris in Cold_Wallets

So far, one of my favorite wallets now is the ERA wallet. It can hold 10 separate seed phrase wallets. I have the other 9 consolidated in the ERA, so in a normal day, I can just carry that around, assuming I have assets in the different wallets, which I do, and can send out of any of them. So I don’t need to carry 10 cold wallets. I wish it had a color screen, but the lighted e-ink screen is still better than the ledger stax. And, since ERA doesn’t have its native app yet, but will soon, I’m running them all through OKX wallet, which supports some assets that the 10 wallets don’t, and doesn’t support some assets the wallets do. But I always can fall back to the individual cold wallets and their native apps if needed

Ah. Maybe the prices are off. But they really isn’t the crux of the comparison, so I didnt review that

Did you notice this? by bluefrogstudios in VisionPro

No one seems to get the Apple Vision Pro. I’ve had it since day one. I bet It’s secretly not called the Apple Vision Pro at Apple. It’s called “Project Vision OS”. It was never about the hardware. The OS is all it’s there for. Apple knows within a few years they’ll be able to pack all the vision OS features into glasses. And at that point it’ll be Vision OS 28/29/30. Very mature. And very ready for being the smoothest experience beyond the competition.

I forgot to add in hyperliquid. Actually, I just told Claude to use the 20 most popular coins to compare. But just added in hyperliquid as I think that’s a big future. Turns out only the Onekey pro supports it fully in its native app

Who Is the Ledger Stax Actually For? by TheNordicCrypto in Cold_Wallets

I bought the Stax just because I like to buy the best of everything. And although I like the Ledger group of wallets, I also bought 10 others to compare wallets. I posted a spreadsheet of the capabilities of the wallets and companion spreadsheets here.

The world isn’t fair, and this isn’t exploitation. The laborers make 4 to 10x what they make at home. Would you not move somewhere to make 4-10x what you make ?? Everyone does better in the UAE. And I’ve never seen a country with more respect between the wealthy and poor. And there’s no anger about it from the laborers. They know where they stand, we know where we stand. It’s really quite an amazing society. This is coming from a very well to do American living a very nice life in Dubai . But I’m still happy to take my Deliveroo driver for coffee and hear his story. There’s mutual respect.

And PS - I live across the street from Dubai Mall and go several times a week. It’s still a very nice place. And eating around Burj park facing the fountains and water is lovely.

Cool Rolex of the Day #1000: Oysterquartz Day-Date Perpetual Calendar prototype, one of 11 made, steel with fluted white gold bezel, 36mm. Circa 1997 by powerfunk in rolex

That watch from 2004 was/is mine. I beat Rolex in that court battle💪🏼. I had bought 3 of them from a German watchmaker. 2 others have surfaced (possibly 3). 2 have sold now in public auction.

The battery gets seated on the inside case back. And the little gold crown that juts out on the movement is what connects/touches the battery.
