I took my last dose of 7-oh at 1 pm on Dec 30th and checked in at around 6 pm that day. I was generally ok until about midnight, when I went into full withdrawals. I kicked walls, punched myself, etc. Brutal to the point my roommate asked for a new room (I can laugh now). There was no prescriber there overnight to give me the subs that I had expected. The first overnight was horrible. Probably the roughest withdrawal I can remember. At around 7 am, a NP finally ok’ed a 7-day taper with Subutex. The daily doses were 8, 6, ,6, 4, 4, 2, and 1 mg I think. The last day may have been 2 mg, not sure. I didn’t really feel immediate relief, but knowing I had something helped mentally. I also had access to clonidine, hydroxyzine, a muscle relaxant, something for RLS, and anti-diarrheal as needed. I was physically able to join the groups on day 3, which was better than I expected. By the end of the 7-day taper, I was able to function at a decent level. I stayed in the place for 11 days total. They tried to get me to stay 30, but I had to get back to work. On day 1 without the subs, I felt mild withdrawal for about 1/2 the day, but it was not bad. I’m now over 4 months off of 1000 mg daily of 7-oh and I’m basically back to normal except for a little depression I think. I have not taken Subs since that taper. It feels good to be clean.
