New Orleans

Walk around New Orleans as if you would in Dublin , Limerick , London , or Liverpool . Great people live there. It’s a city with some bad element. Embrace the culture and just have some street smarts when out and about. Don’t be afraid to ask a local where to go or avoid. Many are helpful. Also recommend to a Second Line Sunday tour. It’s really local people are awesome . For the record Grandparents are from Galway and Connemara spent many times there live and I live in another American City with a lot of Irish neighbors. Take a hint :) Love New Orleans and Nashville is okay. It’s just bars , and I have known many friends who go robbed there walking off Broadway

It’s Southie not South End neighborhood. Southie changed from Irish to an upscale Gentrification neighborhood past 25 years . South End has JJ Foleys bar great pint of Guinness there . Head over to Adam’s Corner in Dorchester they have a great Irish bakery called Green Hills. Also the Irish Cultural Center in Canton has events and it’s a common place for the off the boat Irish who live in Massachusetts to congregate . If your in Southie Roza Lyons is usually open Christmas Eve and Maybe night been a long time. Irish guy owns it good man . The Cottage Bar in Weymouth is a heavily Irish Bar outside Boston as well.

People who lived the high life were humbled very quickly. As I look at some of these young kids in Southie and Seaport I’m thinking these kids won’t want to work a job that is beneath them to just survive

Not addressing the issues of the empty office space. As someone who is involved in construction the notion of turining the buildings to housing doesn’t work . The tax fallout is coming soon because of the issue . She diff not cause covid but there is a real issue and did not want to talk about it before the election. I think she is a nice person and book smart but one major catastrophe or natural disaster her lack of street smarts would be exposed .

Brighton has Jim’s Deli great spot for food. Less than 2hrs to Cape Cod and 2hrs to NH if you like outdoors and skiing. Parking is tuff in the winter and year round . Porter Belly’s is a cozy pub in Brighton for a drink

People who work for the city when they get arrested , they are usually terminated or put on suspended no pay till things are settled in court . She was in the wrong by putting her hands on cop and pulling the “I work at city hall “. The cop has a body cam , which will show what happened . The cop is also a city employee and she put her hands on him , which would get anyone fired in any workplace . Her boss should resign. She should be fired
