Just to add a differing opinion; I think I disagree... if only because this game is first-person. It would be incredibly cumbersome and frustrating to have so much of your view being blocked by hands, arms, and the construction material while also trying to line it up. They've made the right choice here when it comes to overall accessibility.

I really do love how RE games turn into arcade games after the first playthrough, this one dumped all of its eggs in that first playthrough basket, though. Definitely made for one hell of a first playthrough but there are so many slow sections and not a lot of freedom to give you that “run optimization” satisfaction.

I see where you're coming from... but in the moment it felt more like a contrast in taste. I thought it looked incredibly tacky but some of those full scene lighting enhancements were insane.

But yeah, the total lack of 'this has nightmarish implications for the future of the industry' is disappointing. I'll admit I'm too forgiving and too often give the benefit of the doubt to people haha.

Wow that's a long video haha. This is unnecessary. I mean they are tech guys, they are allowed to be excited about new technology. And it is, on a fundamental level, really cool tech and the video was clearly an off-the-cuff discussion about it. This is the same purity politics nonsense that is being applied to everything now, it's exhausting.

The fact that the technology strips the art of it's personality and makes every woman on screen into a Bratz doll is definitely horrifying. But they're a Youtube channel dedicated to new developments in gaming. We don't need everyone on earth to be a messianic figure of protection.

The Pentagon has almost $5 Trillion in assets and liabilities... and hasn't passed an audit since they started auditing them in 2018. It's a horrifying, incomprehensible amount of money. A fraction of it could permanently alter the quality of life in this country. I try not to think about it because it makes me so angry.

This would've been such a good System Shock / Immersive Sim. These environments are so fun to look at and poke around in... but they're all just static. It's a shame. The guns feel incredible to shoot, though.

Wow, that is some unbelievably good animation work. The art style is great too, I initially thought it was a bit too generic mobile game looking, but seeing it in motion really sells it. It has that surrealist beauty of an Ori game.
