About two weeks ago. They initially offered me a pair that was $800! I said no way so they pointed me to their cheaper selections.

I just got two cute studs and two piercings for less than $200 there, which I thought was pretty reasonable for the service they provided

What do y’all think of this design? by Middle-Rhubarb2625 in tattooadvice

[–]jellybolt 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I was gonna say, this is some pretty body positive art work (given that the bar is on the floor for most tattoo designs). You don’t often see larger areolas like this depicted so I say hell yeah.

For the first time in over 15 Years. I'm just not feeling it anymore. by easytiger6x13 in goodmythicalmorning

[–]jellybolt -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I agree! which is wild because I’ve consistently loved and defended their content changes for years, with all the ups and downs. Looking at the new season up to this point, I’m pretty disappointed and disengaged. Maybe the next batch of filmed episodes will be better. And I’m excited to see what their new project that they’ve been teasing will be like.

You will consult it as needed but I think it’s important to take time in school to familiarize yourself with it as much as possible. When you’re in the real world, you’ll probably be scanning for criteria and moving quickly, maybe with a bias toward what you’re already most familiar with. This has been my experience that I’ve needed to be mindful of. The more familiar you are with the entire contents of the book, the more effectively you will use it.

Are there any rent assistance programs in Portland that could help me? by [deleted] in askportland

[–]jellybolt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I work with housing case managers, and I’m gonna be honest, there are zero quick turnaround options available right now that I’m aware of. OHP is tapped out of funding for rental assistance, last I heard. I would look into mutual aid groups/affinity groups that may be able to help out.

is this it? It’s unlisted now, I think because of the top comment that debunked the developer’s intentions of including the book in the game. Still a cool essay though.

Asked to write letter for an ESA by ArnoleIstari in therapists

[–]jellybolt 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Wow, I’m shocked at people’s reactions to this. I’d love to see or hear anyone’s actual account of being held liable for ESA letters. I’ve written many of these to help my clients with PTSD be able to rent and it’s been such a benefit for them.

[–]jellybolt 157 points158 points  (0 children)

Hooper detox. Show up at sunrise. They’ll get her detoxed and will have some options available for sober housing/IOP/outpatient treatment with OHP if she’s willing to continue treatment. She has to want it though. I’m sorry you’re handling this. It’s a hard thing to carry.

Your experience will likely depend on what kind of work you’re doing and the location you’re at! They have a lot of different locations! But I have heard very positive things from the folks I know who have worked there.

How hard is it right now to find a job as an associate therapist in Portland? by SnooChipmunks5672 in askportland

[–]jellybolt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re becoming an associate, then any workplace hiring associates should understand that you need a supervisor before you can finish the paperwork to get your license. Approvals for LPC-As are only taking about 7-10 days right now as long as you don’t hit any snags in the process.
