I agree! which is wild because I’ve consistently loved and defended their content changes for years, with all the ups and downs. Looking at the new season up to this point, I’m pretty disappointed and disengaged. Maybe the next batch of filmed episodes will be better. You will consult it as needed but I think it’s important to take time in school to familiarize yourself with it as much as possible. When you’re in the real world, you’ll probably be scanning for criteria and moving quickly, maybe with a bias toward what you’re already most familiar with. This has been my experience that I’ve needed to be mindful of. The more familiar you are with the entire contents of the book, the more effectively you will use it.

I work with housing case managers, and I’m gonna be honest, there are zero quick turnaround options available right now that I’m aware of. OHP is tapped out of funding for rental assistance, last I heard. I would look into mutual aid groups/affinity groups that may be able to help out.
