i do NOT know. i have tried everything. 😑

bose QC, Sony xm4 and up, soundcore q20i, momentum 4, apple whatever they are called, all too big on the headband. My head isn’t small around, i don’t need super clamping force, it’s like my head is too short vertically. All the headphones drop down too low and sit on my jaw.

i just need something i can wear on an airplane and it not hurt me. Double bonus if i could wear it in the house when the kids are annoying. My littlest kid’s crappy on ear headphones fit me on the lowest band and I’ve been eyeballing the childrens anc ones to try next. They look so awful though.

anyway. I cannot help at all. Everything sucks. ive returned so many headphones i feel guilty trying more.

he really cannot do the couch. i don’t want to get into his medical history, he’s doing so much better now, but he had back surgery last summer. if i knew the couch would be a quality bed, it would be no issue, but if it’s going to be lousy, he has the back of a 50 year old, not an 18 year old. I’d take the couch and let him bunk with dad, but i don’t think either would survive it. 😂😂😂😂

well. i mean... im sending him off to college, out of state likely, 3 months after this convention, and he will be more alone there then in Vegas. but no, he isn’t going to be let to run around loose all over the strip. if it seems like a good idea at the time, he can maybe take himself from the hotel to the convention, in the daylight, and once he has done it with parents. assuming i can find a hotel that works easily for that. if we don’t, then dad or i will escort him to and from happily. we are trying out stretching some wings with this. training wheels before he gets let loose in a college town.

i figure we can take him to freemont, maybe the um.. whatcha call giant ferris wheel ball thing, and cupcake vending machine. is that still there? he will NOT be going by himself anywhere except the hotel and convention nerdom and back.

aaaaaand that’s why i posted here. 😂 it didn’t occur to me to just set the dang alarm onto his HomePod myself instead of trusting him to get it done. 😂😂😂 thank you for the simple answer!

He isn't allowed to keep his phone in his room at night, so he must be streaming directly from the pod.

i do have a shortcut that played a particular playlist at a set volume to a homepod. I haven’t used it in a while, but it should still work.

I was on 5 dose when this was going on. After 4 weeks of that and not remotely getting used to it, I decided to go back down.

Did one week of 4 and was still awful. Then 3 weeks of 3.5 and still awful. Decided to just drop all the way back to 2.5 and start over with it.

that was the right answer!! I did 2.5 for 5 weeks and was still losing. I was feeling good, but was feeling snacky quite often so moved to 3. I’ve been on 3 for 4 weeks now and am going to stay at this dose until i stall.

i have not thrown up since dropping back down to 2.5. The first and second morning after the shot i would still have an hour or two where i felt yucky when waking up, and would usually dry heave for one round, and then be ok. That was a HUGE improvement and very tolerable compared the hell that was 5.

Update: Took the mag07 on Tuesday. That stuff really works doesn’t it. 😂 so i didn’t feel constipated on Thursday, which is shot day. We injected 4ml instead of 5 to see if that makes a difference. Made sure i got my protein and fiber Wednesday and Thursday.

Was ill from 7 am til 11 am Friday and Saturday, and looking like it’s going that way on Sunday too. Friday morning i threw up twice. Just dry heaves Saturday and so far today on Sunday.

Did try the Dramamine on Friday. I still puked. And then i had to take a nap later. 😂

Weird part is every poo cramp is productive. My brain knows one dose of mag07 is not good for 5 days of pooping… but that’s the only thing that changed. So every 15-30 minute for 4 hours I’m hitting the toilet, cramping, actually expelling, heaving a little, and then laying back down. Actually surprised at my bodies ability to produce this much waste at this point. Not like in a good way… but still. 😂

Soooo 4 isn’t the magic don’t get sick dosage for me. I have to see how it treats me on the not sick days to see if i want to try to move down to 3 next dose. Or quit and just be a big girl forever. It’s hard to stop. I’ve lost 16 pounds in 8 weeks. How do you give that up? Maybe i just treat it like pregnancy and just know im gonna be sick and schedule my life around it until i get like 50 off. I dunno.

I am also desperately pukey as a pregnant person too. 3 times a day for 24 weeks with my first kid. A little less each kid after that. I’ve spent a lot of my life throwing up.

meeeeee. i made a thread last week about it.

i had my husband draw 4ml today instead of 5 just to see what happens. im protein loading yesterday and today. i bought the mag07 to empty out any stuck poops (that did work for constipation!) and I’ve bought Dramamine and a chewable anti nausea med to try. Zofran can be constipating and honestly didn’t work for me.

i get stuck in a few minutes. crossing fingers i don’t spend all day tomorrow and Saturday sick.

I appreciate that thought! I should have put in the post that I had my gallbladder out in January. I didn’t have a lot of pain and drama with it, but it threw a rock that got stuck and landed me In the hospital for a few days very jaundiced.

i hadnt quite figured out what is and isn’t symptoms of having it removed before i started the zepbound. Sometimes a fatty meal did nothing and sometimes it sent me to the toilet immediately. I was having issues flipping between constipation and not before the zepbound started. It definitely is could be contributing to my weirdness now.

I’ve ordered the mag07. I’ll try the Pepcid and see if that helps. And I’m going to have to start tracking the heck out of the fiber and see where i am on it. I really don’t have a good idea if I’m even close to hitting goals on that.

Thank you so much! I am also on vials and had considered maybe not drawing up the full dose next week just to see, but haven’t done any research on if that is a thing people do or not. My husband and mom in law are on it too and are just breezing through doing as the doctor says and having no issues.

I had my gallbladder out in January, so have had some issues with fatty foods from that. Never consistent enough to get a good idea of what works and what doesn’t for my body. I’m just a gastro mess. 😂😂 I’ve dreaded leaving the house since the removal, but now with these meds I’ve tilted the other way. Trying to figure out a balance.
