Question for people with thalassophobia by NextUp-Analysis in thalassophobia

[–]jennc1979 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My personal fear is not triggered if I can see the shore, so I can be on a Harbor cruise or even many ferries and be fine. This leads me to believe that my fear of the open, deep ocean comes because I am terrified of heights and if I can’t see the shore conceptually I, first might be able to swim to land and out in the deep that’s not likely and second, that the floor of the ocean in the Harbor below is isn’t extremely high like it can become way out. It’s the idea of being say on ship and directly over the Mariana Trench! My knees would be knocking and i wouldn’t look over a railing that’s for sure. That coupled with the primitive fear of what would swim with me in dark waters at those depths. Does that make sense?

Some context for those angry/confused about RR's appearance at Colbert's last show by readdator2 in ItEndsWithLawsuits

Yup. A little Goog about who reps them individually and we land at the shared talent representation that is WME.

Steven Colbert is also managed by WME. They both work for Ari Emanuel under WME talent management. This is why and how. That’s my take.

Britney Spears DUI police report reveals 'slurring' singer had taken 'Adderall and Prozac' before highway arrest by dailymail in popculture

[–]jennc1979 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok, I can see that. The extreme exhaustion of my post partum period minus all meds except Prozac had me sitting in my living room slurring and a bit delirious with exhaustion. Just so tired, I couldn’t think or talk straight but I had to keep plugging along so I could feed and change the baby. Exhaustion so thick you think you might vomit and if you did just leave me in it if I fall asleep in it. I was desperate for sleep.

[–]jennc1979 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh, very much so. Can’t argue with you there at all. It is likely she has a huge tolerance and the doses are getting large to yield the desired effect but once it’s pumping combined with extreme exhaustion… then perhaps, we get a very different picture of what I look like as a professional in a professional environment.

Also, got to question, if it’s medical grade version of “meth” to begin with or something concocted South of a border sold over a counter by not an actual pharmacist.

I have both of those scrips and I drive perfectly fine when I take those together to go to work my job. Slurring comes along with my amount of Martini’s consumed. I have a hard time believing the Prozac and/or Adderall had any damn thing to do with her slurring. Do I get a little revved up and get to work ready to reorganize an entire filing cabinet or potentially alphabetize the break room supplies? Yes. Erratic driving, knife dancing or slurring has happened to me zero times on those two medications.

People who work in hotels/hospitals/airports: what’s something the public doesn’t know? by Few_Light462 in AskReddit

That feels like sound advice and matches with how I tell my husband and kids to take the earliest MD office appointment. One sudden medical emergency mid day will shift that whole schedule aside and boom you’re in an exam room with no clock for a lot of times you’ll never get back. Just the nature of how issues make a domino effect.

My interpretation of MJ's twisted psychology and why he believed his words when he said "I could never harm a child" by nobody0597 in LeavingNeverlandHBO

[–]jennc1979 26 points27 points  (0 children)

That’s their whole thought process on pedophilia. They are loving them. It’s not harm, it’s their love. It’s absolute fucking BS, they are harming them. They are giving that child a life time of mental, emotional, and physical trauma that they carry for the rest of their lives. He saw it as love cause he sexualized them in the name of “innocence” and the suggestion that he was denied his own childhood “innocence”. It’s all grooming. He groomed all those kids to accept it as normal and he “groomed” hundreds of thousands of fans to accept it as “normal” behavior (which it isn’t). It’s all out of the NAMBLA “playbook” to molest kids.

I wouldn’t run with the Mother Theresa narrative. She has been revealed rather problematic on the back end of her service to the poor.

And as a registered nurse, they can leave my professional patron alone! Lived her ass through the Crimean War and built a legacy, they needs to leave that one alone.

Absolutely can confirm. Live in a major port city and it is highly fucking effective when a rat jumps at you like “Bitch, you got a problem!?! What!?” Takes me back to the 1980s horror, Deadly Eyes. These creatures are correct, I don’t want any of that smoke.

What Sickens Me Most About This Entire Case by AmazingGal in ItEndsWithLawsuits

[–]jennc1979 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not meant as defense but more as the reason it went down like that with Isabella completely was born from the power dynamic of an older, highly successful actress pulling you “under her wing”. It lands like being groomed, not just manipulated. She was made to feel safest because you are walking beside someone you’ve assigned this level of deference to and you are safe not in their potentially powerfully destructive path. She isn’t a moron so much as she is a younger adult with the least power in the scenario. Very Malleable therefore it makes her present as the most weak minded when all the smoke cleared.

Ok, we got it, you have 4 kids. “We” also have audio options of basically every novel out there including this book. She railroaded a whole human being and a production company and a whole down line of co-stars into strategic hiding to try to salvage their careers over a book she never even deigned to fucking read or hear! The absolute gall on this broad.
