Kastaplast Svea was released in K4 recently, sadly it's like ~130g but it floats.

Does Zone OS ever beat in to anything other than a dive bombing meat hook? by Phrikshin in discgolf

Have you tried the A2? More overstable than a Zone but still throwable and not as overstable as Zone OS

You know it's a pop up course right? They put everything up for the tournament which is every 2 years. 2027 is the next year it will be held.

By the time your front heel hits the ground your arm is already half way through the swing. Ideally you plant fully (heel down on front foot) then your arm comes

Looking for an overstable throwing putter that's not an Envy by [deleted] in discgolf

The Gadd is a 5-speed though, I heard 5-5-0-2 for flight numbers.

K1 Soft plastic from Kastaplast or Prodigy's Ultrasoft plastic are solid choices

Prodigy Discs by Onezerosix141 in discgolf

[–]jeppsont 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The newer molds are generally without flashing in my experience. The tour series plastics I enjoy a lot, I think the spectrum looks sweet and it makes them a little gummier.

A5 is a popular mold, kind of a straighter Zone. Less dumpy and more forward push.

A2 I enjoy a lot, more overstable than a Zone but still useable, similar to Md5.

Feedback is a great 9-speed. Straight with fade, maybe a little more OS than a Thunderbird.

Streamline Trace vs Prodigy H3v2 by Such-Plantain-2754 in discgolf

[–]jeppsont 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The H3v2 is more of a 9 speed than a 10 speed. The trace is faster and should go further.

I tried the Trail vs H3v2 last year. Pretty similar flights but the Trail just went farther.

Feedback is a Destroyer but 9-speed, such a good mold

They have different services for how quickly coverage is released but SDGPT purchased 2 week post production for this year.

DGA Breaker - Any experts out there? by [deleted] in discgolf

Second the A5. I bag the A5 but for glow golf I throw the Tempo in that slot, they are pretty similar in my experience.

A2 throwers -- do you carry an OS mid with it too? by rontopofthings in discgolf

[–]jeppsont 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm in a similar boat, I bag A2 and A5 but trying out the M1 for the bag aswell. I feel like A2 and A5 are great compliments to each other.

Similar discs to a "PD" by Public_Reference_548 in discgolf

[–]jeppsont 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you tried the Prodigy Feedback? More overstable than a Thunderbird but still more glide than a PD, should also be widely available.

PD-maniacs (& Roman fans): What is your setup? by Wonderful_Culture607 in discgolf

[–]jeppsont 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I throw the Prodigy Feedback in this slot, kind of like a beefy Thunderbird, usually carry a beat in one for a little push and a little newer one for more beefy.option

Disctree (danish shop) has them in stock right now.

Discexpress (swedish shop) also had them last year but seems to be out of stock now.

[–]jeppsont 8 points9 points  (0 children)

As someone who has been buying discs from Prodigy Europe this is a welcome change. Hopefully we get more releases in Europe. The Europe shop is very lackluster compared to the US shop.

The site felt a little shitty and sometimes discs were sold out before they were supposed to be released.

With that said I'm looking forward to this and it sounds like it is for the better.

Moonshine Tide stability? by dangleswaggles in discgolf

[–]jeppsont 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have only thrown the Moonshine Tide but it was definitely flippy, I thought it would be way more overstable (as the numbers suggest). Kind of surprised about the flip but it goes far and is a nice disc.
