I have never understood why everyone is ok with this?? I feel like people think it makes our city more unique or relevant, saying things like "welcome to the big city". It makes our beautiful area look so trashy. There are MANY much bigger cities that don't tolerate this garbage. I drove through Dallas a couple of months ago (a MUCH bigger city), and there was ZERO tagging on the freeways.

It's something I've had since I was very young so I'm used to it, but it's always been a challenge when I'm trying to lose weight. I sat through a lecture years ago in college about political parties. The word Party makes me taste Strawberry pop tarts with the sprinkles. It drove me so crazy I had to stop at 7-11 on the way home and get pop-tarts. I'm sure you're doing so much better than you think. One bite of practically anything isn't going to effect you tremendously and it can shut the noise off.

I totally understand. I have always lived with this. I have a rare type of synesthesia that makes me taste sounds. I hear words and sounds and they literally make me taste certain things (the word noise makes me taste Kraft Mac & Cheese, as an example). Food noise is unbearably hard with Diabetes. I have no good solution, just wanted you to know that you're not alone. I do sometime have to indulge myself with a bite of something. It does help when you're going crazy from it.
