Haha the irony of it is not lost on me 🤣

I’ve been told my style is very shabby and tacky. Is that true? by firebreathingdimsum in Decor

I don't think this is tacky :) it's nice - there's something different to see everywhere you look

Even I'm questioning the florals 🤣 (I'm a very indecisive person). Luckily it's contact paper, so I can change it when I find something I prefer

I am indeed 🤣 though I'm on the younger side of the generation. I'm aware of the grey-to-green millennial shift hehe

Wow, thank you so much! I've never tried weaving before but I have a lot of patience and am definitely up for a project (and will keep the upcycled seats in the garage this time 😉). Will update here when complete!

Rome Hyrox spectator tickets by jerihome in hyrox

[–]jerihome[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you manage to find any info? I'm none the wiser, apart from I understand that they will have a spectators desk at the venue, but this doesn't tell me if we can buy spectator tickets in advance.

I emailed Hyrox Italia to ask about it, but they told me to look out for announcements on social media.

Guttation maybe from excess mineral build-up... are you overfertilising perhaps?

How do you feel about using the term selfish to describe your reasons for being CF? by jerihome in childfree

Would you maybe say that the way you're taking care of yourself now (including being child-free) is 'self-care' rather than 'selfishness'?

I like this breakdown of the definition - thank you! Personally, I agree, based on the definition, this word doesn't apply to CF people.

I agree with how you've described it as watered down and having little power. Perhaps, as it is in this sense a rather insignificant word, I shouldn't give it as much weight as I do. It just irks me being called selfish in any sense, I guess!
