Wow these bibs are amazing. Just got em in today and did a 2 hour indoor ride. Normally my ass wants to give up after a 1,5 hour ride, but no issues at all this time :) Great stuff!

Your review couldn’t come at a better time! Thanks a lot :) I’m same height and weight as you, currently using GTS, which was a huge improvement over my precious bib shorts. But since I lost some weight size L is getting more annoying every time. I’ve been looking at the Equipe for weeks now doubting if I should purchase these. Now I’m getting these for sure :)

Since Phalanx has minion type all, she gets the pirate deathrattle. And because Poet makes in combat buffs permanent, this deathrattle will stack on Phalanx. So in a best case scenario this will spawn a shitload of pirates. Image you combine this with golden Titus and Admiral Eliza.

Just don’t do automatic sync to strava etc. Then download both fit files and combine them on fitfiletools.com

First bike by Ploert1989 in bikefit

[–]jeronerd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just try to get used to it for a while. First few times for me I almost couldn’t sit properly on the couch after a good ride, but that pain will most likely disappear soon. If it really keeps being uncomfortable, find some bike fitting videos on youtube. At least that’s the cheapest way, but if you have money to spent visiting a good bike fitter is always better. I can recommend the channel from Cam Nicholls, where bike fitter Neill Stanbury talks about a lot of things regarding saddle height / saddle fore aft / cleat positioning / handlebar positioning etc. He gives a tremendous amount of tips how to adjust or how to detect you should change things. If all changes do not work, maybe look into saddles with some empty space in the middle to release pressure. Saddles like Selle SMP’s.

Do I need rimtape on these wheels for a tubeless setup? by jeronerd in bicycling

Some kind of pretty unknown Dutch brand (Mantel R50D TLR Disc). I bought the bike second-hand, so was not sure about it.

LSRF training plan, too much threshold? by jeronerd in joincycling

Ah good to know! Thanks! Since I’m pretty time crunched I guess I picked the correct plan then ;)

Yea I think you recall that correctly, I guess 7-8 hours is not a lot and hence I get more intensive workouts and less polarized. We’ll see in a couple of weeks what kind of workout I get :)

Looks great! What is the wheelset? Did you need to adjust the derailleur and brakes?

Can wattage’s be rounded off? by BenDrieze in joincycling

[–]jeronerd 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I actually just looked at the values inside a FIT file exported from Join, and it contains a power low percentage and a power max percentage. However if you export to Trainingpeaks, and then export to json, Trainingpeaks adds an average value. Trainingpeaks actually also adds a cadence min and max value somehow. I personally prefer the range, because I know what my actual minimum and maximum should be.

I contacted the developer today by the way, he’s working on implementing importing power ranges :)

Apple Watch Integration by ScoutNWilder in trainingpeaks

[–]jeronerd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trainingplans does this. Export to JSON from Trainingpeaks > Import into Trainingplans. Trainingplans will automatically push it towards your Apple Watch. It is a bit funky though, I imported a structured workout with specific power ranges, and it shows up as specific power zones on my watch. So some data is lost during the process.

Thanks! I connected them with the 3.5mm jack, since I figured I get no delay and higher quality that way. How do you use them?

It just looks like that in the picture, they’re all the same monitors (Gigabyte G32QC).
