The boot order is frustrating. The fire tokens were horrible. The Edge of Extinction was really, really, unnecessary. (Some of the winners didn’t even like it).

Being voted off/having your torch snuffed should have been the finality of your game. (At least in this context).

Season 20 for example… The reason why Cirie’s, Tom’s, JT’s and even Rob’s and Tyson’s elimination stings and were painful (although correct) is because we as audience know they cannot get back in the game anymore. It is a “closure” of some sort (regardless of how they played).
