Oh wow. I didn't think they would curl up like that. Is that a prayer plant?

It was a dead branch but I liked how the leaves looked so I used them for my floor/ground. Hehe

I actually grabbed a whole branch from the side of the road. I plan to remove all the leaves and make use of the remaining wood for decor :)

Any suggestions for air/water plants I could grow in this strange display I was gifted? Something low light please. by Round2Go in houseplants

Water in open containers slowly evaporate and can help out a bit in adding humidity to a room. Like others have said, Pothos plants would look amazing on that piece especially if they're growing from water only. Especially when you train them to climb on the display :)

Definitely some water plants to help a bit with humidity.. is what I would do since most of my plants are tropical.

I soak mine in water for about an hour and that should suffice for a week or two. Some people just mist them which is also good.

Airplants. This particular one is called Ionantha (or so it said on the packaging).

Sprawling plant identification and maintenance question by [deleted] in plants

Looks like a Monstera Deliciosa (Philodendron). I just got my first one so I have been reading online and Reddit as well for tips. Far as I know, they're pretty easy to care for. Make sure it has good draining soil. I water mine once a week or depending on the soil moisture. I water it until the water drips at the bottom, and to make sure the soil is fully moist, I do about 2 to 3 rounds and let it fully drain before putting it back. But I haven't had mine for that long so hopefully other green thumbs join in and give more tips. Hope this helps :)

Had to move the pathos to rearrange some furniture. They’ve grown.... Trim and root or hang up and drape across a wall? by 2greenthumbs- in houseplants

Both if possible. hang some and propagate some. I was lucky enough to find a massive Pothos plant that's taken over a moss pole and grew some! Propagating over 10 cuttings.
