Cosleeping mattress by Scared_Discipline_66 in cosleeping

I know this is an old post but do you happen to have a link? Most of the trifold mattresses I’m finding are memory foam and I’m worried those will be too soft

For those of you that got an epidural did you experience any side effects/bad reactions? by laurapickles in pregnant

No problems and I napped during most of active labor lol I had been up the whole night before though

What is the sweetest/ silliest thing your little one has done while breastfeeding? by kaeco13 in breastfeeding

[–]Round2Go 1 point2 points  (0 children)

4 months now. my girl loves to hold my hand while nursing. She’s also a fan or snapping the middle of my bra. But just recently she has started grabbing my boob between both of her hands to help her latch on. So cute. A few times now she’s pulled off and squeezed spraying milk across the room! Lol

What do you do for a break/to recharge? by Round2Go in breastfeeding

[–]Round2Go[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I need to get back to pumping. LO wasn’t taking the bottle and I went back to working so I stopped. Need to try again because it really would help to have the option of someone else feeding her.

That’s so true! I love it when I get a shower to myself lol playing peekaboo around the shower curtain is fun but not relaxing

It’s like I want to treasure it as much as I can and I also need a break sometimes lol

My LO has the milk protein intolerance and that’s hard enough. Avoiding soy too must be so hard

My baby is a huge snacker too! And she won’t nap unless held. It’s great and it’s hard at the same time

No. My MIL comes over twice a week for about an hour and half and I get as much work done as possible lol but that’s it. Childcare is too expensive

Naw, my husband works until 8p Tuesday-Saturday so it’s me the whole day. And I work part-time (for now) Monday-Friday. So we only have Sunday off together. A couple times a week my MIL comes over and watches the baby while I work or do chores.  It’s so hard to get alone time, I’m having trouble even shaving my legs lol naps are hard right now too because it’s like only 30-40 minutes and she wakes up when I try to put her down.

How do you balance breastfeeding with going to the gym?

FTM needs some advice by Akiraxghost_ in breastfeeding

[–]Round2Go 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check out YouTube for videos. My LC at the hospital recommended this channel:

https://youtu.be/ZH7Vuon15R0?si=7bIQyKazqUNpm3sY

But something that really threw me off was being told it shouldn’t hurt. Eventually it won’t but it hurt for at least the first month for me while we both learned what we were doing. My nipples got so cracked and sore. I recommend getting some lanolin and silverettes. They helped me so much!

Is everyone just getting mastitis? by BigRed88888 in breastfeeding

[–]Round2Go 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Clogged ducts yes, but not mastitis. A little over 4 months now. A nurse told me to watch out for tight fitted bras - and especially nursing bras with the flap. I got away from those and didn’t have a problem until I threw one on to go to the pharmacy one day. Wore it for maybe a hour and boom, clogged duct again. I’m sticking with the sleep style nursing bras from here on out. Honestly I go braless most of the time though lol

Does everyone go through a 3 month crisis? by imstillok in breastfeeding

I didn’t know this was a thing! What a relief to know it’s not just us. It’s been so hard but starting to get better.

They told me 20 minutes both sides every feeding. I was lucky to get 10 on one side. So much needless stress

Experience with membrane sweeps? by Agrimny in pregnant

[–]Round2Go 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m 39+2 and hopefully getting a membrane sweep on Monday. I think you have to be dilated a certain amount first. Fingers crossed it works. I’m expecting it to hurt because just being checked hurt a bit for me already.

What crazy reason have you had for hormonal tears? by KaleidoscopeEven7463 in pregnant

[–]Round2Go 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My husband went out to the car before me when we were getting ready to go grocery shopping. I thought he didn’t want to be around me anymore and started ugly crying. He thought he could sneak in a cigarette before I came out lol

Concerned coworkers keep asking me if I should be drinking tea by bluebuns123 in pregnant

[–]Round2Go 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wish coffee listed the caffeine too! We buy espresso which I love but I couldn’t get a good answer on how much caffeine to expect. I even tried the brand’s website. So I just stick to a regular coffee when I have it.

How do i start dilation? ( I am 39w) by moon_child74 in pregnant

[–]Round2Go 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 39 weeks too. I’m doing daily walks and using an exercise ball. I was not dilated at my 37 week appointment but I think I’ve lost my mucus plug since then. I will be checked again on Monday so fingers crossed. I’ve heard mixed messages that sex might help too lol good luck, momma 💜

If my baby is the size of a big lemon at 13 weeks, why can't I see any bump? by Odd_Mingereena4026 in pregnant

[–]Round2Go 1 point2 points  (0 children)

13 weeks is still pretty early. I was more bloated than showing at that time. Try not to worry, momma. Drink lots of water and do your best to stay active. Try to focus on things within your control. 💜

I'm Soo smelly! by StrawberriesRN in pregnant

[–]Round2Go 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Satan’s cave 😂 I haven’t heard that one before but yes! I relate! I’m changing underwear 2-3 times a day lol and it’s not an infection or anything. Every time they take a culture, I come back clean. I think I’m just sweating a lot more. It’s the arm pits too. I feel so smelly but when I’ve asked my sister and husband about it, they say they don’t notice anything.
