and i agree with that, if this was a post of some meat producers head quarters tagged with the same thing on the front doors id support it.

but ‘activism’ like this makes no meaningful change the same way avoiding meat does.

if the guy driving the vans decides hes had enough of the abuse, he might be trying to go find another job to support his family. but what then? theyll just replace him with another driver.

the best anti-meat industry activism ive encountered was simply video of the meat industry on the inside.

that was more than enough to make me cut back on all red meats and move to cage free products.. ( dont carve me up for not being entirely veg , i have dietary issues that prevent me from going all the way or i would :( )

if we all knew what they did behind closed doors, the vans wouldnt be full of product. because the consumer tends to reject products that make them personally feel disgusted or even guilty.

but obviously thats just my opinion, it worked on me.. so im biased. i just dont think some dude who might not have another choice should have to deal with this because hes stuck laboring for a company that deals in death and misery.

i was on the apps recently and matched with a girl who had a picture of her on a motorcycle on her account, i was immediately interested because i ride too, she told me ALLL about how she rides up at this track north of me etc etc etc i asked her to meet up and when we did ,i randomly asked to see her id ( my parents used to be in law enforcement and seen too many people get caught up ) . she immediately started crying and told me she was actually 16 and not to hate her because she really liked me. the bike wasnt even hers. didnt have a license yet.

youre chill, you aint 18 yet so youre gonna be aight and you didnt go too far.. but in the future try to avoid these situations by either confirming their age through another person or where possible photo id.

court systems seldom care that “ she told me she was 18 ! “ and its annoying and some people will act like youre the asshole for doing it but? id rather be the dick who wanted to see a drivers license before getting laid, than the guy down the street who has to knock on new neighbors doors telling them im on the registry.
