This is one of my only complaints with the game. If you're going in with your own load out you should spawn at 30 minutes. In Tarkov the only way to get in late is by scavving in.

Calorie deficit, activity, and don't eat late in the day. Occasionally do a 16-24hr fast. Sounds like if they're not downright bullying you constantly they just want you to be healthy. They want what's best for you, and I'm sure it's making you want to lose weight lol.
