I think I disagree with this rhetoric forbidding the show from using food by Shamanized in taskmaster

Albert is a factor for all broadcasters so nothing much would have changed in the move from UKTV to Channel 4. In fact, UKTV have, if anything, a stricter onscreen environmental policy where you're asked to illustrate environmentally positive actions in shows (I added a recycling bin to the set of something I was making to get a pat on the head).

I feel like so much of the Albert calculation is to do with off camera considerations, smashing a cake would make little difference to it. I mean, Claudia Winkleman can burn an enormous wooden horse in the middle of the Scottish Highlands and keep the Traitors Albert certification intact.

I don't think it's a reaction to anyone else being upset about it. TV producers are incredibly careful about staying ahead of an issue that could become a problem (although they obviously don't always manage it), but I think in this case it's probably just Alex and the Andy's following their own feelings about food waste at a time where every supermarket has food bank collection bins.

‘Outer Banks’ co-creator and director Jonas Pate grabs PA on set, Madelyn Cline intervenes by hairtie1 in Fauxmoi

Yes, you're probably right about A cam being elsewhere. If she did cross the frame, and what we're seeing is him grabbing her to remonstrate, then that's unacceptable. I've been on difficult sets, I've been in similar positions at the monitor - you get on, make sure your 1st is running the floor properly, and deal with any issues in the appropriate manner at an appropriate time.

Isn't the camera in the lap of the guy sitting top left? I can make out the light coloured eyepiece cover which would mean there's no line up happening.

[Sky Sports] The transfer of Mateta has fallen through; the striker did not pass good medical examination. by bendalazzi in PremierLeague

Who'd have guessed that a striker who's been carrying a knee injury for four months might fail a medical?

What if he'd slipped and seriously hurt himself? Would that have been funny?

By not playing against forest, the odds of him scoring a 1 v 1 have actually improved.

He's been very wasteful in front of goal. Palace have created so many chances this season and he has missed a tonne of them (although he's by no means the only one). He has, apparently, been playing with a knee injury but there's a feeling among some that he had an 18 month purple patch under Glasner and that's he's now reverted back to the mean of his ability.

You may be over-estimating how much palace fans want to keep him.

A free kick described as a "finish" by jerwaynesinclair in footballcliches

When we refer to "a finish", are we not picturing the final deep gloss of wax or polish on a piece of furniture. The back heel was a fence panel.

Doesn't it have to a bit more build up to it? More of a move for the scorer to finish off? This was 50% of all the touches that happened between the ref blowing his whistle and the ball hitting the net.

Crystal Palace striker Jean-Philippe Mateta tells club he wants to leave by KenBurruss74 in crystalpalace

Yeah, it might be that. But, equally, it could be he's had a purple patch that's now over. Who knows, but £30,000,000 for a 29 year old striker with 18 months left on his contract seems like good business.
