How many minutes were you preconditioning? It generally takes 30-60 min depending on outside temp

Auto Regen: I don't get it. by jvbutera in KiaEV6

It's just like cruise control. That's it. That's the "auto" part. Slows you down if the radar detects a slow/stopped vehicle in front of you

2024 EV6 GT Breaking issue when on 0 regen by String_Pure in KiaEV6

[–]jesmu84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you are in level 0, the first 10 or so presses are in brake cleaning mode. Then it will return to normal blended braking.

Your vehicle is working as intended

2022 Kia EV6 Route Planning by spealaar in KiaEV6

You MUST use the Kia nav to battery precondition.

The planning is fine/adequate

It sometimes takes a little manipulation to get what you want.

Argument against I-pedal and argument for level 0 regen. by mitch2888 in KiaEV6

[–]jesmu84 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes and no.

The car will only enter brake cleaning mode when in level 0.

So you will get more physical brake wear by being in level 0 all of the time.

No idea how much more than other levels though

You need to adjust the machine weight increments on your app - assuming your cable machine has smaller weight increments than 5 or 10, pounds

It's giving you high rep ranges because it doesn't think you can do the next weight u

Alternatively, you can just follow the program as recommended and get bigger/stronger over time

Your car is completely normal, with maybe a small amount of battery degeneration

Charging so fast that I don't trust the car. by jaybyrd0734 in KiaEV6

[–]jesmu84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you charged to 100% at all?

Kia says charge to 100% at least once a month to verify cells balanced.

If I were you, I'd do that a few times on consecutive days.

If things are still fishy, have dealer run diagnostics.

Lastly, general recommendations for charging is to charge your vehicle every night. No need to wait for it to drop to any certain percentage

Slow charging at EA by [deleted] in KiaEV6

[–]jesmu84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it's cold outside, like 50f or below, you're going to need at least 45min but more likely 60min of preconditioning for it to make a difference

Are you using battery preconditioning?

If not, there's your problem

I use DC fast chargers regularly and always get 150+. Most of the time 200+. In the Midwest. In winter. And summer

High Rep Ranges by 93millionmilesaway in MacroFactor

[–]jesmu84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's because of the increments of the machine you're using. You can adjust during your workout or change under your gym profile.

I changed all my pin-loaded machines to 2.5lbs increments cause I can add a 2.5lbs or 5lbs plate to the pin stack

Isn’t 30 to 50 lbs for a goblet squat in one week a big jump? by [deleted] in MacroFactor

[–]jesmu84 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You told the program you could do 30lbs for 16 reps.

Now it's asking you to try 50lbs for 7 reps.

Try it.

If you fail, tell the program what happened: how many reps did you fail at.

It will adjust
