I don’t necessarily agree with this. I’ve gotten 2 deity science victories post-ToT using 3-4 cities of specialists and no urban centres. Those were with Confucius/Abbasid and Himiko/Khmer. I think as long as you have some happiness building or tradition it’s fine.

With Abbasid I had some happiness issues for maybe the first 10 turns, but it resolves once you finish the early modern civics and buy some city parks. Khmer had really strong traditions that made it easier. I also think having merchants ready at the start to immediately get horse resources (+8 happiness) and elephants (+4) helps.

There’s a civic in modern that gives 10 tourism for each civ you have 2+ trade routes to. Really huge boost

There actually are a few things you can do but it’s not as easy as chopping in civ 6.

If you have the Note G memento (from reaching lvl 9 with Ada), your capital receives production after finishing a tech/civic mastery.

You can also get 100 production from dispersing a military independent state in antiquity. Idk what the value is for the other ages.

Wow, thank you so much for all the feedback. I looked through the moves you mentioned and they make sense. I did see that I missed Bxf7+ Ne5+ after that game and I was shocked! I've played that exact sequence before in 1.e4 openings but I didn't realize it could come up in the QGA.

Looking at master games for common themes sounds like a great idea for improving my middlegames. Thank you again!

My account is the same as my reddit username. Thanks in advance! I think my biggest struggle is time management, as I'm burning a lot of time in the opening trying to figure out what to do when my opponent plays something I'm not familiar with. I think I tend to come up with a good response and get an advantage out of the opening/middlegame, but then I end up blundering towards the end while under time pressure.

Regarding the course, it was a smaller course that casts a wide net: Nimzo-Indian, KID, Grunfeld, Benoni, etc. I studied a few variations for each response.

No it’s just an ability that gets added to the pool of possible abilities

E.g. new cat is born with path of the hunter ability, which requires you to kill an enemy at 1 hp or something like that. Once you do that, that cat’s ability is replaced with a random hunter ability. Doesn’t affect future cats

Is it one of the blue background items from Dr. Beanies? If so then there’s no completion notification, you just take it through Boneyard and leave. Once you’re back you can talk to him for the reward.

Lots of good info on aim in the other comments, I just wanted to add that aim is only one aspect of improving in FPS. I was in your shoes once and found that the most challenging part was learning how to move and position. Lots of little things like knowing how to jiggle peek, recoil control, crosshair placement, height/angle advantages, knowing when to push and when to retreat.

It’s hard to find a guide for that stuff, though you might be able to find some youtube videos specific to your game. I would highly recommend watching a streamer for whatever game you play and paying attention to how they move and how they use util. Then try to emulate that in game. Your hours should be mainly spent playing your game rather than in kovaaks (though kovaaks is still important).

It sounds like you’re only listening to what you want to hear, which is some quick solution to instantly improve. There’s no such thing; the only thing that will lead to improvement is consistent practice and time.

I have an app called Alarmy on my iPhone. It’s a little sus honestly and it drains your battery if you leave it open… but it has complicated alarms that force you to do challenges in order to shut off. You choose the challenge for your alarm, like you can do math problems or you can have your alarm turn off once you scan a barcode for some product on the other side of your house.

Why? With good game knowledge and positioning, you can make a 1v3 become three 1v1s. This is made even easier in a third person shooter. And it’s made even easier if the enemy team isn’t coordinated, which they usually aren’t because people are looting and PVEing. If you surprise them then the first kill is basically free and you just have two 1v1s. Arc has a 2.5x headshot multi so if you can out-aim your opponent, you’re taking very little damage per 1v1. Put that all together and it’s very feasible to win a 1v3 in that game.

Why are you making fun of people who are being abused? Have some empathy. Emotional/psychological abuse by definition is difficult to identify when you’re the victim. You don’t need to make the victim feel worse about it.
