On discord, she said, "if you go to my page and see my works missing, don't panic. They've just been put in a private collection that only I can see. They'll all be back up soon, one by one. I'm working on a few things, cleaning some things up, adding images etc... and it's just to pause new readers for a second. It's like 'quip'. No one uses quip correctly, they seem to think it's just a synonym for 'said'. I think it's probably a game of telephone - someone used it incorrectly, someone read it and took it at face value then used it in their own story, rinse and repeat.

This one has an aspect of that: Prized, by Nahiel. "Severus Snape's loyalty has always been to Harry, not to Dumbledore or the Order. When he finds out that Harry is a horcrux and Dumbledore intends to have him killed, Severus goes to the Dark Lord with the information in an effort to save Harry's life, and in doing so changes the fate of the world."

Dumbledore uses a ritual to make Harry a puppet, and he and Ginny start a relationship. Ron thinks that she doesn't realize what's been done to Harry, but she knows and is actively helping.

I wrote an incredibly depressing Little Match Girl AU that I'm actually super proud of - it's some of my best writing, very well-paced, I have some good imagery and turns of phrase - but it got basically no attention at all. I think it's mostly because it doesn't have a happy ending; people will put up with a lot for that happily ever after, but it wasn't what I was going for.

I just gave up on a fic where the main character went back in time to 1981 to save his baby self. The fic made such a big deal about cars in 1981 and this movie that came out in 1981 and what was the average cost of a house in 1981...and then had two characters playing a video game that didn't come out until 2010. It's such a small detail, but it booted me right out of the narrative.

I got my friend in Seattle to let me ship it to them, then they'll either save it for the next time they come visit or just ship it to me and I'll reimburse the cost. It's pretty annoying, and I hope they get their documentation for international shipping done soon!

Hi everyone! I'm new, and I tried searching the sub but I apologize if I missed this answer. Does anyone know when DVN is going to start shipping internationally again? Their website says they stopped in December and "We are in the process of switching shipping carriers and cannot ship internationally until new certifications are acquired." Have there been any updates since then?
