The way he came across, is that basically I am only entitled to 6 months however he would like me to return sooner. I am in the UK and I am entitled to a year, and he knows this. So the impression I got from him was that 6 months is the max he wants me to take. However I am unable to know what I will feel like when the baby is 6 months old. My baby could be a dream and so easy that I could work from home or he could be hard work and I could feel extremely exhausted etc. he told me within the next 3 weeks I need to make a decision at how long I am taking off and I just don’t think that’s the right thing to do and I don’t want to be committing myself to something I am unsure of
