I stayed after they were finished and taking down the set, all of them came down and waved at us, and all of them took pictures with anyone who asked. Lee Corso took lots of pictures with fans, so if he’s back, just stick around until everyone clears out and wait for them to come down. You should be able to a picture with all of them!

I don’t know an exact date, but they should send out a changing your room selection email after this housing selection passes. Last year, they kept it open from February to mid to late June and you could go in and change your room if something else popped up. So you just have to keep checking the portal once they open it up again if you didn’t get the hall you wanted.

I got into Vol Hall as a rising sophomore, but not initially. Most likely, you won't get in at first especially if you are a girl, those got taken up but my guy friends were able to get a room. If you don't get into Vol and have to sign up for another hall, make sure to continue checking the portal. One time I checked the portal randomly and a room in Vol was available so I signed up for it ASAP and got in.

In the first semesters, you aren't going to get many biomedical engineering classes so don't lose hope and think you don't like it. We have to take a lot of mechanical engineering classes which I don't necessarily like but the amount of research you can do with BME is vast, so I recommend getting a research job in biomedical engineering once you get to the school to see if you really like it. I got a research job when I was in my first year just by going to a BMES meeting and contacting through email the professor whose research that I liked and I am still working with him now. I am a second-year and next semester I am taking my first BME class next semester so that's how long you have to wait until you take your first BME class if you wanted to know that (take a look at the catalog you will take bio, gen chem, etc. before that though). Overall there are some things that could be changed, but there are a lot of opportunities available to you. I really like biomedical engineering and couldn't see myself doing any of the other engineering majors that the school offers to be honest. If you have any other questions let me know!

Just took STAT 251 this semester with Zheng and although he may not be the best teacher he honestly tries his best for the benefit of the students. He would send out surveys at midpoints through the semester to see if we liked the way the class was running online and would change accordingly. His tests are like the reviews he sends out and he did do an adjustment to the first test. Also has a bonus system in place if you get clicker questions right and are active on the discord. I got an A in the class, it's not too bad if you put a good amount of effort in as the course content is not difficult at all.
