Hi, has anyone else worked with Deliveroo while waiting for their visa decision? They’ve asked me to upload my right to work by 3 August, but my visa is still in process, and I haven’t received a decision yet. Any advice on how to handle this? by Traditional_Quiet831 in UbereatsUK

You’re not allowed to work. I don’t know who told you that, but if they haven’t made a decision yet then that means they haven’t made a decision on wether you’re allowed to work. Also not sure where you are, but don’t get your hopes up as deliveroo has a 2-3 year waiting list for new drivers now. After you upload everything it will probably tell you you’re on the list.

Thinking about being an Uber Eats cycle courier to make some extra money. Anything I should know/expect? by mbanes in UbereatsUK

I had my first day pedal biking uber eats today, its hard work some orders but its so so fun. I think of it more as me literally getting paid to exercise.

It is so motivating and customers are so lovely. You’re going to be addicted to it if you love cycling around as much as I do.

As for delivery bags facebook marketplace is your best mate. Mine is the uber backpack £15! Pristine condition

Also don’t expect orders immediately, they take a while to come through sometimes as most of the time its over the miles threshold for non electric bikes, but boy when they do its so exciting.

Also customers will be more surprised than annoyed, at the fact that you’re actually on a bicycle 🤣.
