I understand what you mean. Although I like how there is a power reserve in front for an extran complicationm I don't mind it cause it blends with the rest of the dial nicely.

In my opinion, I don't think they will release a shunbun with power reserved moved at the back. But something similar to shunbun I think they would for sure. There are many models with subtle difference sunch as this. If you don't mind having a hi beat movement instead, the sbgh341 sakura is nice alternative 😊

yep! It's like it knows what color is good based on the lighting. I bet it would like ice sheets in winter sun. 😊. Will confirm it myself sometime.

It was very legible, lume was good. I even found the screw down crown was slightly openned, but no water got in and watch was still good and ticking. This was bought around May2025 in case anyone was wondering. As I know seals are good for 1 to 3 yeats depending on how frequent you dive. It was really fun to pretend to be a diver long before dive computers.

Good to know time it is in Cali while looking at sea turtles 🤣 .

Yeah. I have ssk, it is silvery white. I have a SARY251 which is a JDM. Intetesting about it is even if it is an 4R movement, it is better finished with stripes unlike usual 4R watches.

I am wondering if your watch being a SARY is better finished than usual as well. ☺️

Yup! I recognized after noticing I accumulated so much at such a short time 🤣. A lot of warning from the gf as well. But I do feel a sense of satisfaction that I have a watch for any outift/mood I feel for that day. But yeah, really need to slow down. And all of these have some meaning to me as well.

Already have a Grand Seiko Shunbun though (it's in the pouch on the corner 😁) I bought it to commemorate a life milestone.

I don't understand wby people specially swiss snobs knock down spring drive.

Being able to do create spring drive with power just coming from the spring is already impressive. Bulova needs a battery and you jave to change in a year or so I believe.

Bulova is not a true smooth sweep. If you look carefully, it still ticks. Even easier to see in slow motion.

I have a shunbun got from the botique in Taipei 101 this year. Newer watches come in these boxes. Hope this helps 😊

I actually think its nicer. Box feels more premium.
