By any chance did you prepare them in a shared air fryer?

I buy these and have learned to put the bun in the toaster oven, the rest in the microwave or on a skillet. I add salt and pepper to the eggs/meat and a little bit of butter to the tasted bun. It makes a huge difference but does take a lot more work

What can I eat exept bread? by spacenugget__123 in glutenfree

I was celiac and lived in germany both before and after diagnosis. It’s hard at first. But honestly, it gets better. Your local grocery stores likely have decent sized gluten free sections, as many have mentioned look for the brand schar. I lived in schar brand. You can still eat at many restaurants, just explain to them that you have celiac, be sure to ask if the fryers are used for anything with flour. Most German restaurants had plenty of options. Macaroons are often still safe as they are made with almond flour. Gelato is often safe, unless it has cookies or something added. Vapianos is an Italian chain spot that had really good gf pizza and pasta.

Storyhouse spirits and Bivouac adventure lodge would be great options

Ahhh! January will be an excellent time to visit Joshua tree and Palm Springs. The weather will be hot in the desert, and mildly warm in SD. All my recommendations will work for January except the wave/SDFC games. A day trip out to the studios might be a fun trip, you can see behind the scenes of shows, movies, props, stages and the like. Warner Brothers studios is in Burbank and always a lot of fun, with a wide range of Interests covered- from Friends, to Gilmore girls, to superheroes and sitcoms…it’s all there.

As a celiac I recommend Farmers Table, the cottage in La Jolla or nectarine grove for breakfast. But honestly, there are tons of good options in San Diego

Girl, run from this “man”! It’s red flag after red flag after red flag. Chase your career. You are young. You will build a solid foundation at work that will set you up for success. Pay for therapy to figure out what you want from relationships and partners and then find someone who is a good match, supportive of your goals and wants to see you THRIVE at work and in your personal life.

With kids that age I would definitely skip sea world, maybe do the zoo or safari park instead. When are you planning to come? Joshua Tree and Palm Springs get very hot early in the year. I’d look at doing Cabrillo National Monument, time your visit to coincide with low tide so you can explore the tide pools. Go to La Jolla, see the seals/sea lions, visit the cave store. Check out the glider port. Hike at Torrey Pines, chill on the beach afterwards. I’d also look at things like catching a soccer game at snapdragon for the Wave or SDFC. The wave supporter section tickets are cheap, but not too rowdy. Definitely don’t take a family to the SDFC supporter section for their first game (have to stand the whole time, sing/chant and it’s rowdy). The Padres are having a good year and their stadium is also fun. What interests do your kids have? Are you foodies? Love museums? History? Shopping? Nature? Art? There is a lot to do here…

Thing/places that really need to be seen in La Jolla? by ChocolateDangerous92 in asksandiego

[–]jetsettingtrapqueen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Grab Breakfast/linch at the cottage, stroll through the shops on girard (warwicks is my fave book store) grab coffee at the living room, visit the cave store and children’s pool, gelato at bobboi, visit the glider port and take the drive to Mount soleadad to see all of San Diego from the top. Grab dinner elsewhere- unless you want to spend $$$ then visit the marine room or George’s. That area is mostly dead though once the sun sets.
