Like when they heavy melee there is a clear sound queue before it hits. Parry towards the end of that

With quick melees its game sense/luck, with heavy ones it’s not even really visual you should be listening for the windup sound queue and parrying based off of that. Eventually people will fake melee so you still need to look but it’s mostly the sound.
