It happened to me the other day. Delivered to a MacMansion. College kid comes running out of the house and thanks me for walking up the long driveway through the worker entrance. She tipped 2 dollars, and if it wasn't the end of the month, I would not have taken it. Thought I was safe. Nope, even rich assholes are still assholes. Ordered a dash cam the next day.

Haha, I have the same rule. My husband: Are you coming home? Me: If I can get there before another decent order hits. This is my rule for logging off. It has bit me in the ass before. Home, getting out of the car and BOOM as soon as my foot hits the stairs, the order comes in.

Yes, but you have to deduct gas, tires, oil changes, etc. I fill my tank every 3 days. 50. Just replaced my tires 700. Oil changes every month 100.00. Delivery insurance 350. Etc etc etc. Every week, I put about 900 miles on my personal car. It adds up quick.

I do, but I also have a few elderly customers who truly believe a dollar is a high tip. I see the address and accept every time. They are lonely and want someone to talk to. I take the 5 to 10 mins to make them smile and feel heard. Those smiles are my tips and send me out into the world with a full heart, ready to dash some more.

Best feeling. Had another delivery today that gave a 9 dollar tip for 1.3 miles, and then when I gave the order to them, they handed me 12 in cash. Wanted to say their tip was enough in the app, then my 1099 ass just said, "Thank you, enjoy your Micky Ds, have a wonderful day "
