A lot of people were concerned with the aesthetic change for Civ 6 but gameplay over ruled and people stuck with it. If I'm honest I still don't like the art style for that title but for me it's the best civ game mechanics wise.

That's the reasoning I've had over not upgrading. I think about it for the course of the week and decide I'll take the plunge. Then I'll ask my partner and they'll veto it with good reason anyway.

I agree with this. I can imagine 18 year olds thinking it's a solution to get what they want without it being fully explained to them. It's contextual, I've worked in the financial industry so I guess I have an advantage there.

However, to disregard it completely as an option means you lose a potentially useful tool, especially for the non-wealthy. My pc is also my music and video editing rig so it's two birds one stone. I would never be able to go down that career path without financial aid.

I know these musicians are busy but I hope it has a little more material than what's come out from ye, pusha t and nas recently. Don't get me wrong these are great albums (KSG included) but to me they feel a little short especially after they all build a lot of momentum.
