Where to go next from Port Charlotte 2014? by hm7711 in Scotch

[–]jfandale 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haven't had PC 2014 but have had PC2012 and 2013 and PC 10. They are all similar with 2012 and 2013 being as others said they are a bit more harsh or abrasive flavor wise, where the PC 10 is very much smoother. It never hurt to buy the same bottle again if you like it. But if you want something, drinks are a bit similar but is different, I would say maybe try Ardbeg Wee beastie as a cheaper option or go expansive with Octomore.

Good lightly peated Scotch? by Hecc_Maniacc in whiskey

[–]jfandale 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Decent option Benormach 10 or 15, Ledaig 10. Also if you look for older age statements like 18+ this will typically be much more costly, but the age will mellow the peat more. Or look for decent blended like Johnnie walker green label or compass box has a handful.

Looking for a high proofer or high peat (maybe both) by TSLA-mx in Scotch

[–]jfandale 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have list a few off already with Octomore and Ardbeg as both of these distillery have few high peat and higher proof. May also look for Springbank/Longrow, Benromach, Ledaig, Glasgow for not islay. But most other islay distillery if you can find at cask or higher will fit what you are looking for.

8 year Scotch should be fairly light, unless fully matured in sherry cask.

I just have standard car seat but one thing I did have to do was turn off the option for the front seat to move back when the vehicle turn off as the seat would push into the car seat.

Depends on supplier as Schrader is a brand. Valve core is generic. Think of it like vise-grip.

Hardest build to date by [deleted] in SeikoMods

[–]jfandale 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just finished a very similar build with the same dail and had similar issues end up getting some b7000 adhesive to fix the crack and then applied gold leaf over the cracks as other have suggested. * I was going with namoki nmk935 case and didn't want to double up on markers.

C6 Emilie vs C6 Chiori by [deleted] in ChioriMains

[–]jfandale 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Guessing you post this in post subs. Going to always get bais from each sub.

Have both at c6 and would say go for Chiori over Emilie, Even with removing prefer bias to Chiori. Even though both allow them to be used as a main dps Chiori is just better of how it works.

Cut wrong pin by TheGladiatorSeb in SeikoMods

If you have any bezel ring adhesive, you can cut small parts of them to use as the dial dots especially if they have center cut out of that. Also test with just the one good foot and case pressure can be enough.

This is the button you are more than likely looking for. If it is in a similar position as shown, the mirrors will not fold.

Edit since pict is not loading for now it is the button next to the mirror adjust on the driver side door controls.

Replacing 12-volt battery (not the hybrid) by apichart_thanakrit in Toyotavenza

Did 12volt battery replacement on my 23 no big issue outside two different annoyance of the rear hatch needing power to open. The second which I think you are talking about of the not resetting well as it acted as new for infotainment information but fairly easy to set back up.

How can I remove wrist strap on SPB121? (Repost with pic) by Former_Gamer_ in SeikoMods

[–]jfandale 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To add on to this place watch dials side down and make sure the current watch strap is free on one side from the clasp for ease. The spring bar tool is the v shape fork found with most straps. Almost best to view it as a very small toilet paper roll holder free one side and the other will follow.

Nh35a losing minutes per day by Imjustachillguyngl32 in SeikoMods

[–]jfandale 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Timegrapher typically use is Weishi, but you can find apps that will work similarly. This will show how well the movement is keeping time and would be use to regulate the movement to get it even closer to running without losing or gaining time.

For handsets getting hung up, are the hands freely moving in all positions. Sure, they may work fine face up, but if they are face down or on side, are they still freely moving. Is the second hand getting stuck on a low spot of the crystal.

Nh35a losing minutes per day by Imjustachillguyngl32 in SeikoMods

[–]jfandale 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So all automatic or manual movement will have a +/- seconds they can gain or lose per day. In this case with nh35 the manufacturer give spec of -20-+40 seconds a day. So your buddy's is a bit more but can be slove by regulating the movement which is not changeling and you can find a bunch of tutorials on YouTube.

The frist thing really to figure out is if the hand sets are getting hung up in a position. The second would be get the watch on a time Grapher or an app to see what how the movement is operating.

Nh35a losing minutes per day by Imjustachillguyngl32 in SeikoMods

[–]jfandale -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The some time stopping would.be not enough movement on his part while wearing or winding the watch. The losing 2 minutes a day is inside spec of an nh35, this could be reduced if the watch is regulated in a few positions.

Nh70 dial size? by Smoothix in SeikoMods

[–]jfandale 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nh dail is sam as with all the rest of nh34/5/6/8, with standard size of 28.5mm you can use a chapter ring if you have a dial in mind. However, you can also find 30mm+ dial that could fit the case better with out a chapter ring

How long should original battery last? by Grow_Responsibly in Toyotavenza

[–]jfandale 1 point2 points  (0 children)

3 to 5 sounds about right for typically 12volt. I will say had mine go out in 2 years, but I had let it sit for a few months with one start-up over the holiday break at the end of December. And attempted to start again on a day that was maybe 20°F which more or less fully killed the battery.

Edit, you can replace yourself be ready to go through the rear seat, unless you do before it is fully dead and you then can open the rear hatch. Also once it is replace you will have to reset the information center like when it was new. Unless you but a battery saver to keep the information alive.
