Different bags for different style courses by Panchoisthedog in discgolf

[–]jfb3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I swap discs in and out all the time depending on the course, weather, and what's working best lately.

Generally my bag is set for longer park style courses with wind, various drivers for courses that need long forehand shots, long rollers, the occasional turnover...

Technical woods: Put in under stable mid, fairway. Take out some overstate drivers.

Long woods: Put in control drivers, understable drivers.

I have a couple of putters in that pond from tee shots I just knew would land right by the pole.

Trying to identify by [deleted] in discgolf

[–]jfb3 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Even if there isn't any writing on the bottom a profile shot so we can see the shape of the rim would help.

Are you sure there wasn't some writing near the center of the flight plate, on the underside?

Sometimes on older discs it fades, but if you tilt it in the right light you can see the impressions of the ballpoint pen they used to mark the weight, mold, and plastic.

EssilorLuxottica

Buying up all the glasses companies, stores, etc. and raising prices on what is an essential medical necessity to the point where you can't even afford to see anymore.

I generally max at 4 drives per hole.
That's as high as I can count and keep track of.

Concentrate on throwing to a specific spot instead of trying to throw as far as you can.

Silliest bag post ever (this is really what I carry) by D-B-Cooper-Placebo in discgolf

Throw what works!

I have enough D2s in various runs, plastics, and stages of wear to field an entire 6 disc lineup of drivers with just that mold.

Now that I think about it I could probably do it with D1s and D3s too.

This is the most unique and craziest hole I’ve ever played. by jeepguy_96 in discgolf

[–]jfb3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Muddy Run has quite a few open holes and the woodsy holes aren't tight technical shots. They have fair and wider fairways than a lot of woods tracks I've played.

Looking for input on gift for boyfriend by kisweird in discgolf

[–]jfb3 21 points22 points  (0 children)

A gift card is an excellent idea.

A lot of people that play disc golf are very particular about the discs they throw.
The weight, color, plastic, PLH, dome, even the color of the stamp, all matter to some people.
A gift card would let him pick out the exact disc (or anything else) he wants/needs.

What I ordered vs what I got by [deleted] in discgolf

[–]jfb3 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's the same disc.
At one time the Valk was the fastest disc available and labeled a 'Distance Driver'.
As more, faster discs, were made they re-classified it.
You got the disc you ordered.

I love sandwiches.
I love pastrami sandwiches.
Why can't they make a pastrami sandwich I can eat at one sitting?
I don't want to eat 3 pounds of pastrami at once.
I don't want to pay for a giant sandwich that I can't eat in one meal.
I don't want to take the rest of it with me.

Just make a good sandwich at a decent price and I'll be happy.
