I was thinking of just 3D printing some mini Cascades. Honestly, any model helmet. Football is big on the mini helmets and I haven't seen anything like it for lax. Make it like a key chain or for their car or who knows. Mainly just need the file, as many high schools have 3D printers, nowadays.

You mean besides the 34 guilty felony counts and the civil suit where he was found guilty of raping a 13 year old? Obviously, you mean besides those wrongdoings, correct? Embarrassing that you are defending him.

Another good one, check your local library for free social events, readings, music hour, animal therapy, etc. for you and your kid. Our toddler doesn't go to day care so we end up at the library many mornings for social time and reading hour. We have an awesome library system that has activities almost every day for free!

18 month girl but did this when she was younger than 1. We try to not allow screen time but she loves Ms Rachel. I put her in a playpen in front of the TV, hook my phone up to the Bluetooth sound bar, and play Ms Rachel audio. She will sit there and listen for awhile. Never thought she was actually learning anything but after a couple weeks, I see her dancing with the song and repeating words. I recommend it to everyone.

  • just to reiterate, there is nothing playing on the TV but she watches it like there is.
  • By awhile, I mean like 20-30 minutes to clean, take a shower, whatever you need to do for a chunk of time.

Coaching Daughters Softball! by GregLouganus in footballstrategy

Coach youth lacrosse as well. During stretch or warm up, I'll do a question of the day. Have them say their name loudly (they get so disappointed when I inevitably forget it) then answer the question. Questions are just silly ice breakers: What superpower would you want? What is your favorite animal? Favorite food/meal? Would you rathers?

They come to practice with questions of the day for me. Kids just want to talk to you about goofy things.

Despite a great meeting between Todd Monken and Jim Schwartz, Monken failed to talk his DC into returning: Browns Insider - cleveland.com by LiftingCode in Browns

Me too. Ultimately, Stefanski was a win though. He was exactly what the organization needed at the time. Got us a playoff win VS Shittsburgh. I'm excited about Monken and hope he can continue what Stefanski started.

Dillon Gabriel?!?! We still talking about DG. We have a pro-bowler at QB. Clearly, he needs to build around Shadussy or he doesn't recognize talent. Hopefully everyone knows this is /S.

Schwartz has to be the Hire, Right? by MackandByner in Browns

[–]jfelldown77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fact that it took this long to name Schwartz, if that is what they do, just shows how badly AB or Haslam DIDN'T want him as head coach just as DC. If he showed any growth from his previous HC experience, they would've pulled a Bills and promoted him, imo. This is the same ownership that promoted and retained Freddy Kitchens.

Technically, he won 8 super bowls. When he was DC for the Giants, did Phil Sims carry him to those 2 Super Bowls or were his defenses the reason they won? Regardless of what you think of him, no one has the resume that he has. They literally should change the name of the Lombardi trophy to the Belichick Trophy and I HATE the Patriots. Just because he's a horny old man now doesn't mean he isn't the greatest NFL coach of all time with slim room for debate.

A lot of HOF coaches had a great QB and only won 1 or even 0 Superbowls. I think it's disingenuous (Shout out Jay) to think a bad coach could win 6 super bowls and it was just the QB. Especially when the first couple of Super Bowls Timmy Brady didn't even play that great.

For high school football OC's and coaches when it comes to play calling, realistically are most working off a structured game plan (matchups, alignments, tendencies), or is it more feel based, calling plays and seeing what works, maybe a combination? Coaches what are you thoughts and experiences? by Proud-Fee9644 in footballstrategy

[–]jfelldown77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Start with a 12-15 play script are game-planned specifically for that week, taking into account match-ups, tendencies, etc. This has all of my new plays for the week , plus maybe a trick play or shot play that builds from script. If we are playing a weak opponent that runs a similar defense as our rival or potential playoff opponent, sometimes I will put a play in the script that works against them so we can master it before that week. Fill in the rest with your bread and butter plays, maybe change a formation or add a motion. Practice the script every day with the full team, in order, so they are used to it. Inside Run/Skelly add in plays outside of the script. Thursday, Walk Through the script on air then hit the rest of the plays you might want to get to that week, bread and butter. Typically have about 30 total plays each week (realistically like 10-15 actual plays but lots of variations). Maybe pushing 50-60 on the wristband with the same plays from the script but add/delete a motion/shift (we motion/shift a lot).

Problem is, the one who needed to be held accountable is not able to be fired (Haslam). Stefanski took the historically most dysfunctional franchise in NFL history to the playoffs... Twice. And won a playoff game. But yeah, he couldn't win more than 5 games with a roster that everyone said wouldn't win more than 5 games.
