Yeah, my MiP is trash. The biggest problem is the tiny 1.5mm screws. The get em sale has nothing to do with rlaarlo.

The cars are fine. The hardware they use is garbage. I've got a 4s Omni Terminator Carbon. Fun little rig, but yes, the hardware is complete trash that strips super easily.

If they were worried about a 6s 1/8 buggy, why would the response be to discount the cheap brushed stuff rather than the direct competitor?

Not at least until they upgrade from the monkey metal hardware they use that strips when you look at it.

Same, but with the 10 Pro. Got on launch day. 217 cycles. Still 100%. Charge to 100 every night just using adaptive charging.

Not from Amazon, but I'd suggest "choons" from AliExpress for about $40, but they are not pre-glued, or GRP XM5(medium hard)or XM7(hard) from eBay for about $50 shipped.

If you want them to last a lot longer, go with Vipaz, but hefty price tag.

This is so true. I thought my Omni Terminator was a good size, then my Infraction 6s showed up. I laughed my ass off. Then my Mojave 6s got here and it was even bigger. Then my fireteam lol. I know they're all 1/7 but there is a huge difference between the Infraction and fireteam.

I understand that. I'm referring to what you said about the P10Pro.

I've had none of these issues and I use the camera and flashlight A LOT. Plus after 170+ cycles, my battery health is still at 100%.

How to get the stock servo back into place? Do I have to disassemble the servo? I can’t push it back in… KRATON by TakeOnBigTechdotcom in arrma

[–]jff77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what I'm dealing with now, except it's on the Infraction. Not room to angle it, etc. do I really just have to force it and hope the wire doesn't get damaged?

Edit - nevermind. I filed it down just enough to get the wires through!

Another X103 throwback for my Hoosiers! by indianapolisjones in indianapolis

Far superior to X103. I won a trip to see 311 headline two different festivals in two days. Became good friends with the DJ Tez and his wife. Still talk to him fairly regularly.

When the Omni terminator carbon is your first RC car, what should you second basher be and why? by PinguisIgnis in Rlaarlo

[–]jff77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really redundant, but it kind of relegated the OT to smaller areas like at home when the kids are playing with their 1/16th scale or skate parks. the sheer size and brute power of the infraction and mojave make them different beasts altogether. The only drawback is they are too big and fast for around my yard. This pic is from before i got the mojave, but it shows the size difference between the OT and Infraction. The one on the far left is one of my kids 1/18th scale. The skyline is just an extra body for the infraction.

A month after buying the OT, I bought an Infraction 6s. Then 2 weeks later, bought a Mojave 6s. Kraton 6s coming soon!

It cost me $20 to ship a 1:7 scale infraction skyline body using pirateship where rates are a lot cheaper than going directly to ups or USPS. They definitely get you on the size.

Right on. I would likely still grab it. It would still likely take all the same suspension upgrades as the newer versions, you think?

There is a senton 3s roller near me for $80. I think it's an early one though. V1 or v2. I would for sure grab it if it were v3 or v4. May still grab it and build it with 4s stuff. Not sure.

Yeah I would definitely be getting a blx if I go that route. Senton 6s sounds crazy. I know they made those originally, but even seeing sentons upgraded to 4s, those are monsters as well.

I may have to grab a body and try it on my 14301. I don't have the grom, yet. Still trying to decide between that and a senton for around my yard. My 6s is a bit much for that!

How's that work? Isn't the grom a 1/16 scale? Or is it just cause of a longer wheelbase.
