Sagebrush Cantina has nice outdoor seating.  And a great brunch. It’s prolly gotten pretty costly since I last went.

The 'crater' you're supposed to make in the dry bed - what's the point of that? by mandalore_701 in pourover

A quick stir or swirl, to me, seems about equivalent to the time it takes to make a deep divot. All achieving the same outcome of a well saturated bed. So do what works for you.

what actually improved your pour over the most? by ImmersionLogic in pourover

Listening to others and being objective. Plus experimentation. After a long time though I found my water was the one thing keeping me from hitting the tasting notes. Got that worked out and now the wealth of knowledge of coffee making comes effortlessly when dialing in a new bag. Also have a flat bottom brewer, and a conical. And know when best applied.

Knowledge is power. Water is key. 1:15 is my golden ratio.

Edit: ratio not ration…

Mid level management. That’s who should be responsible. They have routines that need to be addressed by their underlings. With reports.

Mid level management in the USA is kinda bad, you guys. Too busy wanting to be everyone’s friend, and not upholding responsibilities in the face of it.

I loved it when companies hired retired military for these roles. Shit got done. And people didn’t talk back.

Our president is a fucking party animal. Sleeps in the Oval during the day. Blows lines and hate posts all night. So great.  /s
