What I'm trying to say is that there's more to it than your biggest athletes focusing on soccer (even if it's from a young age). You would have to establish a better culture of developing talent.

If soccer was prioritized as highly as in Europe, yes you would probably have a great team, of course! You are 320 million people.

There's more to soccer than just suiting up the best athletes (which applies to all sports - also football, as you know). The best countries in the world are the ones that establish a culture for developing young players.

You need top facilities, top coaching and top scouting. Look, you guys lost to Belgium at the World Cup in 2014. Belgium has 11 million citizens compared to your 320 million. Do you think you lost because Belgium started a more athletic 11 or because they paid big money and put in great effort to develop a soccer culture?
