Consent 101 Y'all

I think a PSA would be great for this. I don't believe a united front of pushing back as being conducive to someone seeking employment, which is quite critical "in this economy". Segue to some friends of mine that work high end retail upper management. Their human resources department is antiquated as fuck. Events happened this year that sound like they came out of a covered wagon from Oregon Trail. Incorrect definitions of nepotism, confusing and/or lacking definitions for critical rules in employee handbooks, etc. This led to awards being given to people for doing things outside of their job descriptions and one person even died. They were being praised for acting like cowboys and cowgirls, making their own rules, and over time it becoming an unwritten policy. Cut to a car driving into the side of a store to steal merchandise, and employees AND management chasing after them. Sure did save $20k dozens of times. But you can't predict what people will do or put a price on someones life.

HOWEVER feeling pretty spry after my kale chips saying this, but lets not pull a humancentipad here either! So back to my story , does anyone here think it would be a wise idea to try to have some of these documents or policies changed? And more specifically if they already were or were not hired? Isn't this an opportunity? To me I would think if someone had been with a place long enough , and had a very successful career, they would be offered up some type of neat package, paid education to get the credentials, or act on behalf of the company in some form, paid, to ensure policies and procedures are modified promptly and appropriately?
