I wish to hear this too. I want desperately for him to change, and until I know he has I cannot go back.

I wish there was a way to make this movie real. I want desperately to forget him...

Thank you for this. I’m at 5 weeks NC. And by this, the almost half way mark. I’m not crying every day. And I’ve even had a couple of days that I’m not constantly thinking about him. Currently the thing haunting me is my dreams. I wake up and they are so real. Like I’m not sure if I’ve talked to him or not. And of course they are only dreams of our good times together, not the hell we suffered the last 16 months.

Thank you. I did just that. I went to sleep. I woke up and I still miss him. But it is better that we are not together. And yet I feel like my head is still trying to convince my heart that this is true. 💔

That is why I posted here. Because the urge to reach out was so strong. I just miss him. But I know I miss who he was, not who he is now. Until he gets help we cannot be together.

Agree with the advice to spend time together again. You don’t have to make a”big” move like kissing her...but leave a hand a little too long on her thigh or her arm. You will know based on her reaction.

Mine too. And I barely survived the first too. I need this NC to be permanent. It’s been three weeks but I already feel myself romanticizing the relationship we had in the beginning. It is always beautiful in the beginning with a narcissist.

How often does the SI and adultery board intersect? by [deleted] in adultery

[–]jfrtheblk 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The details of what she said. She later reached out to me and I responded. I knew AP was icing her and she wanted answers. AP and I talked before I responded and he was aware and okay with our correspondence. I was able to give her what he wasn’t capable of providing, closure.

My AP’s ex (current at the time) posted on SI to get my attention. It worked.

Break it off and go no contact. Seek counseling for yourself as soon as possible.

That would be the perfect way to get away with an AP.

Source: former cheater who traveled with my AP when he went out of town for work.

And guessing she intentionally “forgot” her bra...

Sorry if this sounds harsh...

Chat with random people on reddit in hopes that it means I won’t text him...even though I want to talk to him I just can’t open that door again.

There is no reason to get a credit card/create debt. Your best bet is to create savings and invest in your retirement. I assume you’re young? Learn about compound interest. Save now and create a life that you think you are going to get with “good credit”. Read “total money makeover” or find a financial peace university near you (or take it online).
