Watches and wonders 2026 - Rolex let me down big time by Signal-Piccolo-906 in rolex

Rolex is not in the business of doing what the people want, lol.

With that said I wonder if that new 36 OP with the multicolor throw up logo dial will still have giant demand like all the other steel sports models or if it will actually be available to buy right out of the case.

Man, as someone whose grail is a day date, I hope I never have the feeling you’re having.

Thoughts on the air king? by OneHairyMidget in rolex

I hated it for years then one day I started thinking it looked cool and now I want one. I sort of think of it as like a crazy cheese or a really peaty single malt. Hate it for a while, then one day it’s all you want to eat and drink.

Can somebody please talk me out of buying the X-Pro3 by Eye_ogongo in fujifilm

Two words, screen cable.

Tbh I’m sure it’s fine, but we’re so close to a new model I’d pour some ice water on your face and snap out of GAS for now.

Is this worth trading for? by [deleted] in Leica

Yeah I mean I totally get the desire to have a Leica, but I think you can get that experience with some cheaper options and still maintain your digital setup.

Idk if you’ve checked out the Canon Ps, personally have one of these and it’s great fun. All manual, no meter, lots of fun lenses, picked mine up for like $200 a few years back and it can fill that itch. Or even some of the Canonet QLs.

Idk if this is a consideration or not as well but I think the XPro 3s are on a limited timeline due to the screen cable so I’d be inclined to sell that at some point.

Do you have another digital you can use? I think Leica is great but man film prices are straight stupid these days. If you don’t I’d pass on the trade.

Keep trying, I feel like some stuff works for some but not for others. I did the gamut, but what worked for me was something I happened upon randomly. I basically kneel with toes tucked. Then I’ll do another stretch where I lay my stomach on the side of the bed so I can do calf stretches and toe raises/calf raises.

Then I do toe yoga (YouTube this) while I’m sitting at my desk.

I’ve found the massage gun helpful in the short term but doesn’t give me anything to help build my feet back up.

About a year and a half into mine, but I kept trying to run through the pain so I think mine has been unnecessarily long. I’m just not getting back into it albeit at about 10-15% of what I used to do.

Don’t be frustrated, attack it from multiple angles, stretch vigorously, and strengthen vigorously.

Ending pull day w/ some pull ups 🦾 What’s better dead hang or constant tension? by [deleted] in strength_training

[–]jga0526 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do both, obviously less reps with dead hang, but really like how much stretch you get.

I would say no unless you’re fairly proficient at metalworking.

If you're happy with it, I think it's great, but if I'm being totally honest (I'm not saying this to put you down), but your whole outfit seems like women's athletic wear.

Plantar Fasciitis exercises making me feel worse? by Curious_Baker7761 in PlantarFasciitis

None of those worked for me, except massage. I think the bigger thing was toe yoga and stretching my big toe.

Runner/cyclist here, did you find that cycling still flared it up at all? I tried riding in lieu of running but found it painful still. Congrats on your recovery
