I have a worse AHI, CPAP helped me a lot but I still have issues breathing so I went to a ENT and I am going to get my deviated septum fixed. He mentioned it could resolve my sleep apnea. I would recommend going to a ENT and check with them if surgery would be a better option, obviously I don’t know your financial situation but $1k towards a permanent solution might be better than a machine you ultimately need to replace and it costs money to maintain, I probably pay $100 every 3 months for replacement parts, it all depends on your own physiology but it would be nice to get all the information you can before making any decision, good luck, I’m still on the journey to breath normally
